"I own a house which is around 90 years old. Its basement had compromised walls, one of which was seriously bowed. In addition, after heavy rain, the basement floor would be wet. I got estimates from three companies to correct these problems. Pivotal was a clear standout. The owner Jeff, his family members Andy and James, along with the rest of the crew make up a terrific team. Jeff and Andy visited my basement twice for long and detailed planning sessions. The actual work took 7 days for completion with James as foreman. All the problems of my basement were fully addressed. My bowed wall is now vertical, with strong supports along all walls every few feet. A complete waterproofing system was installed which feeds to my sump pump. Cleanup after completion of the work was very thorough. Bottom line: Pivotal is a totally trustworthy top quality company!! "

"We ordered a window from them the end of April. The beginning of June they came to put the window in. They had ordered the wrong size. The said that they would rush order it and we would have it in a month. After waiting a month and not hearing from them, we called to find out when the window would be put in and they said that they would check and get back with us. After many more calls we were told that the window wouldn't be in until July 23rd. We requested a refund and after many more calls were told that they don't give refunds. The window was finally installed on August 2nd over a week after they received it. We will never do business with them again.!"

"I cannot say enough good things about this company, about Chris the owner, about the respect for the client that he has, the performance of the job, sincere dedication to every detail including all clean up..we appreciate ALL the HONEST communication AND Transparency during the whole process before, during and after. He the best man for this huge job. $7000 was alot of money- he understood BUT WE COULDN'T HAVE CHOSE ANYONE BETTER! THERE IS NO COMPANY (IN OUR OPINION) THAT WE FOUND FOR SEWER REPAIR TO BE MORE PROFESSIONAL, HIGHLY SKILLED SKILLED, HARD WORKING, VERY HONEST, EXTREMELY DEPENDABLE AND DEFINITELY MORE TRUSTWORTHY THAN HIS COMPETITORS. WE 💯 WOULD RECOMMEND HIM- SPROCKET EXCAVATING TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR THE BEST. HE WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY. 5 STAR ALL THE WAY. "Salesman that we were to replace dry wall. Later learned we were to have it removed. Attempts to reach supervisors and owners resulted in zero until time to do installation. Gave $1300+ down. Note: this went to the salesman, not to MABS. Then salesman stated $12,000 more if MABS removed the dry wall. Paid salesman and his friend to remove it but didn't do all of it! Sent certified letters to Cedar Rapids address after we got no verbal responses to phone calls. Later learned they receive no mail there, only in Davenport. Were to have GFI outlet placed at far end of basement. 3 electricians said not possible. Also discharge was to be underground to rear of yard which we thought meant to back! House sits on clay. Was to discharge under ground out 10 feet from house. Canceled installation and have found that other basement waterproofing companies do not require 2.5 feet of dry wall removed: only baseboard. Cost was same as MABS. Now we must pay to have drywall installed after the waterproofing is completed."
