"Winter was comeing in fast and they were here evryday. They worked hard trying to finish before snow. They worked long hours and did a wonderful job finishing the driveway to the specs we requested..They were extremely professional .We were so happy with their work.We hired them to come back in spring and lay a sidewalk and a slab in our back yard. They did what others said couldn't be done due to dropping temperatures. We recommend them for all your concrete work."

"Alex, Owner of Downriver Seasonal service arrived and sold us a bill of goods that he would build us a strong railroad tie retaining wall. From the get go it was done incorrectly. The footings he put in were on absolutely worthless (see photo), He was not going to put in Deadmen but did upon the insisting of my husband, Roger. He improperly put in his version of deadmen holding them up with thin metal straps screwed in horizontally instead of vertically and mounted into nothing on the opposite side. The 8 foot tall and 60 foot wide wall was constructed with no stakes between levels and were only held on by these random metal straps placed horizontally. The was no sloping inward to prevent gravity from pulling it down. The logs were literally flung up with no attachment to each other and mostly bowing out. I also contract him bring in the gravel and fill dirt to complete the project. He took weeks to semi fill it and ultimately ghosted me. He was impressive of his initial appointment but his demeanor and unprofessionalism quickly went south. He would be swearing and bitching about not making any money, and he smelled like marijuana while he was working. I had to wait for his equipment to get fixed. We had to jumpstart his bobcat on the initial day, and subsequently that machine needed parts and fixing during the project. His insurance on his dump truck need to be paid and that stopped the project for a few days. During his initial verbal contract he said that he would be tapping down the fill dirt and that he would bring in top soil and repair the mess he made of my yard. He did neither. The wall began to bow out immediately and then it started to crumble. I needed to have another contractor come and assess the mess and Master Builders, another Angie s suggestion, told me the wall would have to be torn down and rebuilt. Master Builders did an amazing job properly repairing the fallen mess that I had. Pat Hill, the owner of Master Builders is such a pleasure to work with. I am giving him a 5 and will only use his services with any job that I have going forward. He not only put in strong deadmen, slanted the logs properly, tapping in the soil he also brought in topsoil and put down grass seed. The query that I placed with Angies was for someone to put in a retaining wall and Alex had obviously never put one in before."
