"It went excellent! I am extremely pleased with the service. I called a day before I needed moving services, and Helping Hands worked me into its schedule. My point of contact was Tony who was most accommodating. It was my intent to use one of the Angie's discount coupons, and Tony explained both to me, and offered to accept either one. We agreed on the 2 man x 2 hour coupon which I think is a really great deal. When the fellows arrived (which was right on time), 3 guys made up the crew, but it was made clear the cost was still for 2-guys. What a great deal Helping Hands Moving provided! The fellows, Mark, Shawn and James worked great as a team. I was emptying two self storage units and the guys loaded all the goods lickedy-split. When we got to my home the job got a little harder. The plan involved putting much of the goods in overhead ceiling racks that I had constructed. It was time consuming and admittedly I held the fellows up with some logistic processes I was doing to try and keep track of what was being put where. But the fellows were most patient with me and did the work as quickly as my somewhat illogical processes allowed . I asked them to pack the racks tightly and they did a better job that I could have done. I was most pleased with their work. They finished up the job as quickly as possible and headed out. After a night's sleep, I decided to call the company and authorize them to change the rate to the 3-man x 2 hr discount rate. Amazing they declined. They said a deal is a deal and the cost remained unchanged. How many companies do you know of that would do this? I was most impressed and even happier that I had chosen Helping Hands. "Chuck and Aaron are extremely responsive and deal well with inevitable changes, etc. They represented the company very professionally. My only "complaint" would be that it was difficult to track as things developed how much it was costing at any given time. It was much more expensive than initially expected (as always, I am told!.... but I think it need not be that way, with clearer communication)... most all of that due to upgrades and changes freely chosen on our part. Only that we often felt "in the dark" as to how much it was costing as it went... Doing it again I would keep track of budget and cost more thoroughly.... even if it meant I would have made the same exact decisions."
