"Mike and his guys did a wonderful job wiring my shop at home. they ran about 250' of line from the house and wired up outlets and fans in my workshop. the only reason I gave them a 4.5 overall is I had to wait an extra day to get the trench covered. ( wasn't really there fault, but they were the contractors."

"I contacted Dave at Red Wire Electric after reading their glowing Home Advisor reviews and I emphatically affirm their professionalism and quality of service! My wife and I recently moved into an older home with aluminum wiring and an old Federal Pacific Panel located on an interior wall. Dave came out and clearly explained what all needed to happen for the house to be safe and dependable for years to come. Dave and Max came out early and didn't leave until the job was complete and exceeded our expectations. They installed a new exterior panel, upgraded service to 200-amp, relocated the junction box to the attic to accommodate future expansion, ran new copper wiring from the junction box to the new panel with dual conduit feeds for minimal interference, installed a fully integrated smoke detector system, and most importantly gave my wife and I peace of mind. They did all of that work and still came in at the quoted price which was far in a way more reasonable than all other quotes we received. Dave at Red Wire is a consummate professional that prides himself on above quality work and is a model of integrity. In today's society these upstanding professionals are hard to come by. We will only be working with Red Wire for all of our electrical needs. My hat is off to you and your team Dave, you truly exemplify what it means to work hard and love what you do."

"Electrician on Call was offering a special to install a ceiling fan for 76.50. It was a little difficult to get a representative to answer the phone to schedule the appointment.  However, once I did the service was well and went very smoothly.  They offered to perform the services the same day or even the next morning.  We elected to have the services performed the next morning.  Our outdoor ceiling fan on the cover patio was about 6 years old and really rusty.  We purchased a new outdoor ceiling fan from Lowes.  New, in the box the electician that came out to our home assembled and replaced the new fan with the old fan that had been hanging.  It took them approximently 1 hour. The elcetrican was very knowledgable and friendly.  We are very pleased with the installation and service that we received.  We even asked he electician to provide us a quote for other electrical services that we wanted to get done around the house.  He provided us wih a rough estimate and followed up with an actual quote within 48 hours.  I would highly recommend using this company."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Pilot Point, TX

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
