"John and team were wonderful to work with from day 1. I live in a duplex down and had an issue of water leaking through the masonry and roof into my primary bedroom. Initially it was difficult for me to pinpoint what was causing the leak, but John was able to inspect the masonry and roof (roof is TPO and located under my deck) to identify the problem. They ended up patching the seams of my TPO roof and addressed some masonry issues. I also had them install a new Trex deck that I have been wanting. Everything looked great after they were finished! During the repairs John communicated with me every day and addressed my every question (I had many throughout the process). "Juan and his asistants from K, B & D Remodeling, LLC, did a fantastic job in my home. I had hired another company to waterproof the basement. To prepare for the basement waterproofing job, Juan and his workers did the demolition: removing all the perimeter wall drywall and most of the drop ceiling in the basement. After the other company installed the drainage tile system, Juan and his workers rebuilt my basement, including framing out all new walls, putting up drywall, sanding and painting the walls, installing new drop ceiling. I also had them put in new plumbing (my house is old) in the basement as well as some new electrical lines, including a new 220 line for my basement shop. Part of the basement floor needed repair, so Juan did that as well. He and his crew did other repairs as well in the basement as well as doing some roof repairs. Juan was easy to work with. "I hired Frank to do a complex job reconstructing my front porch. The 100 year old wooden porch was bad damaged and patched on the bottom. The porch roof with elaborate gingerbread remained in excellent condition. The support columns are highly decorative (turned wood) but were splitting and damaged at the bottoms. Frank promptly answered my request on Angi. He came out to examine the next day and quickly got me a proposal. He proposed cutting the posts to preserve the decorative woodwork. Gave me a fair proposal. Started the job within days after I signed up. Finished in 3 days. Installed tongue and groove flooring. Very skilled crew. Beautiful detail work. corrected a few items that I asked for. Replaced insect damaged wood without any increase in charge. Very professional. Will hire again."

"I needed a new roof, and I called them first because they were at the top of the list. At first, I thought it just needed repair, so when I called them they said they didn't repair what they didn't install. Okay. When I talked to other companies, I realized I needed a complete tear off, so I called them back and got an estimate. When I compared them to the other roofers, their prices were in line but their contract really bothered me. They devoted about 1/2 of a page to tell me what they would do in summary form but proceeded to use about 2 - 3 pages of CYA which made me feel they were really trying to protect themselves as opposed to providing me with a good roof. This REALLY put me off because I have never chased the lowest cost. Also, they called me periodically to see if I still wanted the work done."

We had a "complicated" set of circumstances when our home was damaged by a storm, last winter. The insurance company sent out an estimator to assess the damage and, after the company recommended J & K Home Improvement & Restoration, I was introduced to John Lee. I eventually learned that John also does estimates for a variety of insurance companies (because his company is so well regarded), and he patiently listened as I described the nuances associated with our house. During our initial consultation, he was able to clearly describe all of the steps that would be necessary and answer all of our questions. Long story short, not only was John able to address EVERY single concern and request that we had regarding the eventual repairs to the house (including roof, siding, and a window upgrade that would have cost much more if we had done it at a later time), but he spent plenty of extra time making sure that everything we had talked about was addressed to our 100% satisfaction! He was also able to persuade the insurance company to cover more complete repairs than was originally specified by the first adjuster! In addition, when we had an electrical "hiccup" associated with all the pounding on the walls, John quickly sent an expert electrician to locate and correct the problem. He absolutely could have passed those charges on to us because the failure wasn't due to any mistake on the part of his crew but, instead, he picked up the unanticipated expense himself. It was truly a pleasure to work with John!
