"Angie's List has a coupon for this service.  But the coupon price is misleading, you are not saving any money with the coupon, this is the standard price for this vendor.  I don't believe it should be listed as a coupon.  Also, when I was directed to Pay Pal, the instructions were confusing.  You were instructed to select a date to have the work performed.  That instruction didn't apply to this vendor.  The sample containers arrived within a few days of placing my order.  I sent the sample bottles out the next day.  The instructions were fairly easy to follow, although I have taken samples like these for my job and I believe there should be better instructions about how to make sure you don't contaminate the sample.  Simple instructions, like when you unscrew the lid try not to put it down, but if you have to, make sure you put it on a clean paper towel.  Pictures would help.  Also, don't sneeze or cough over the sample.  I received the results in about a week from when I sent the sample, an email came first followed by a letter in the mail.  The results were easy to read."

"went great - very pleased.    Salesman, Mike Gunter excellent representative of company - very knowledgeable and professional.  Even installed a temporary unit so we wouldn't be without air while awaiting new unit.  Workmen very courteous, quiet - no wasted time.  Cleaned up as best they could.   So far, so good!"

"I bought my own heating and air units myself. I did all the research myself and put them in. They are different heating and air units. I had to go over there a couple of times because they kept telling me they would come back. There was an issue with the heating and air; it was nothing they did but it wasn't running the way it was supposed to. I went over there personally and they said they would send somebody the next day. That was back in June. I figured out the issue and corrected the problem myself. I probably saved myself a few hundred dollars. I have used them in the past when I had a butcher shop and I never 100 percent enjoyed their service because it always seemed like they would patch it just to keep coming over. I wouldn't knock them. They were the only ones that I could get to come over and do this job that needed to be done. Other contractors said they couldn't come over because I didn't buy the units from them and it was a hot summer. The price was a little high for what I needed done. A good contractor is harder to find than a good doctor so I will use them again because they are probably the only ones that I will be able to get over here."

FAQs for air ducts & vents cleaning service projects in Pine-mountain-valley, GA

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) states that air duct cleaning is not required unless visible issues such as mold buildup, rodent droppings, or excessive dust are present. When such conditions exist, cleaning becomes essential to protect indoor air quality and maintain HVAC efficiency. This approach minimizes potential health risks and extends the system’s life.

Air ducts must be cleaned every three to five years as required by NADCA to preserve system efficiency and indoor air quality. The EPA insists that cleaning is necessary only when significant issues such as mold, pest infestations, or heavy dust accumulation are evident. Annual inspections by a certified professional promptly address any emerging concerns.

The ideal seasons for air duct cleaning are spring and fall. Cleaning during these periods prepares your HVAC system for the demands of both winter heating and summer cooling. These seasons provide moderate weather conditions that enable efficient service completion while minimizing disruption, ensuring your system performs at its peak.

Professional air duct cleaning takes a fixed duration of two to five hours, depending on the home’s size and the complexity of the duct system. Smaller residences with standard ductwork complete the service in two hours, while larger homes with extensive ducts require up to five hours. Additional repairs may extend this duration.

To prepare for professional air duct cleaning, ensure all vents are unobstructed by moving nearby furniture and clearing pathways. Secure any pets in a safe area and confirm that your HVAC system units are easily accessible for technician inspection. Proper preparation contributes to a higher quality service outcome and prevents delays, allowing the cleaning process to proceed efficiently.
