"This job could not have gone better. From beginning to end, this was fantastic. From the first call that was made, Efrain called me back that same day. We made an appointment to see the property and he arrived right on time. He did a thorough review of the situation and made a couple of different suggestions as well as hearing my thoughts and ideas. He was able to provide an estimate right away. It was clearly written out and itemized the process for payment and work to be done. My neighbor and I reviewed the estimate and agreed to the price and terms. Efrain was able to begin within a couple of days. He was right on time, every day, for the entire project. He would communicate each day and inform what the next steps would be. He made sure we understood the process and answered any questions. He also did not hesitate to ask us questions when he needed us to make a decision on some finishes for the fence and gate. EGALD Concrete was outstanding. Each day, the workers would clean up the entire area, prior to leaving. Some items would be piled neatly to the side, but this was an amazing site for a construction site. When the job was completed, right on time and on budget, the wall and the fence look GREAT! I have already asked Efrain to bid on another job at another one of my properties."

"We had a great experience with Professional Builders & Remodeling. They remodeled our kitchen. What I appreciated most about the experience was their professionalism and punctuality. The project manager took the time to explain all the steps involved including permits, building codes, designs, and material options. And our kitchen turned out great, we are completely satisfied. Thank you Professional Builders & Remodeling for an outstanding job. Looking forward to our future projects."

"I am in property management so I deal with contractors on a regular basis. When doing any major project I always get a minimum of 3 bids, first to make sure pricing is in line and most important to insure I am dealing with a contractor that appears to know what they are talking about. Once I receive the bids I ask for a minimum of 3 references. I have found that one of the most important things to do is look at a contractors work and interview people they have worked for. I actually visited 6 jobs Seth Pompey Landscaping did and personally visited with 3 of his customers. One thing they all had in common was how happy they were with Seth and his crew. My job consisted of a major remodel of my front and rear yards. This included removing my front and rear yards grass and all shrubbery, landscaping, water lines, sprinkler systems, gas lines and drains. After removal everything was replaced with fresh new plants, trees and sod. Seth was very engaging, walking me thru the process steep by steep. Not only was he extremely helpful, he and his crew were very flexible, allowing me to make changes along the way and in some cases not creating any additional cost. Seth even made recommendations along the way which proved to be helpful as well. Seth has surrounded himself with true craftsmen, artist's that know masonry inside and out. They created mow strips, planters faced with small stones, a fire-pit with large natural rock benches and a large cascading waterfall. All of which put the finishing touches on the landscaping he provided. In addition Seth personally took me to 4 nurseries walking isle by isle hand picking each plant, shrub and tree to be used in my yard. While doing so he made sure I was picking the right plant for the right area. I can't say enough about Seth and his staff, they are a class act, one I HIGHLY recommend."

"<p>Kirk was prompt, very thorough and professional.  He asked a lot of questions that helped me determine exactly the type of landscaping and lighting that I wanted and made suggestions that would make it possible to achieve the design within my budget.  He was accessible throughout the design process and readily made changes we discussed when reviewing the plan drafts.  He provided me with two copies of the completed  plans.  The contractor who will be doing the work was very impressed with the quality and detail of the plans.  I could not have been happier with the experience or the results.<br /> <br /></p> <br />"

"Adam is very professional and also one of the most pleasant person to work with. He thoroughly understands safety when it comes to construction and you feel confident that he is taking every measure to make your home not only a pleasant place to live in but also a very safe and sound structure. He is a great communicator. He goes over the project in detail so you understand what to expect and gives frequent updates on progress. If there were changes or surprises during the work, as many older homes do, he let us know of options on how to address the issue as well as be transparent on any additional cost. He is often on-site during the process and is very hands-on. He handles big jobs with subcontractors that he has had good working history and is very involved in checking on their progress. He is a very responsible person, and I trusted him with the keys to our house while the work got intense. I knew he would check all the windows and doors when locking up. Adam has an engineering background himself and also works with a structural engineer. He knows what he's talking about when it comes to home improvement. I appreciated that Adam listens to your needs and preferences and works toward your goals. He tries to picture how you will actually live in your house and make the renovations work to help achieve the potential of your home for your purposes. He offers great suggestions but is never pushy. You can tell him what you want or don't want and he will work with that. I highly recommend Adam's Construction and Engineering. <br />"

"Our family interviewed a couple of contractors to help us remodel our guesthouse. From the start, Guy came with a professional and exciting energy that made us feel comfortable with going with Builderzz. Guy was upfront about what he thought was possible/safe and you knew he was paying attention because he never missed a detail! Although Builderzz was not the lowest quote, we appreciated the reasonable, itemized and thorough estimate! For this particular project, we had our guesthouse's kitchen, flooring, and bathroom redone. The remodel looks immaculate! The best part about working with Guy and Builderzz Remodeling was their dedication to quality and speed (it was not one or the other). I've worked with other contractors and they were NEVER on schedule. I was shocked at how quickly they moved through the house. However, I also really appreciated Guy's dedication to quality. Our piping was completely outdated and Guy automatically updated the piping because his team didn't feel comfortable with the old piping (I LOVE THAT!) On top of that, Guy was great about communicating timelines, expectations, and questions with me. I'm usually at work during business hours so Guy was great through e-mail and text which I really needed to complete this project. With any project there can always be hiccups. Guy and team never try to deflect blame or make excuses. I think this is extremely important and speaks volumes to their character. Guy always tries to make all things right. This is why I will be working with them again in the future! Do not hesitate to give them a call!"

"Absolutely love my backyard!! Job included quite a bit of concrete demolition, grading, installation of pavers, including short walls, lighted pillars, a long lighted step, irrigation modifications, re-seeding lawn, etc. Victor was extremely responsive and I was very picky. He and his crews worked with me in making changes as the job went along. I was impressed with their responsiveness. Price was good, considering the amount of demo my yard needed. (I had received about 4 or 5 estimates and Belman’s bid was the most inclusive and very competitively priced.) They also warranty their work. I also appreciated his (and his daughter’s) design ideas. They added quality finishing touches I wouldn’t have thought of. Oh - the job was done on time and on budget. Overall, we are extremely satisfied."

"they were on time, very clean (although I had to ask for them to clean up the wood floors). However, I asked to remove water stains on our terracotta floors and the sales rep thought we would see a big difference and unfortunately, we did not. In fact, there are now brush strokes on our tiles and they are slick due to the sealant. The technicians told me this was the very best that they could do, and I believed them, but I was hoping for much better results. <br />"

"About a year ago my wife and I got serious about doing a remodel to our 1,630 square foot home. We initially were looking to add a closet to my son's room and create a master bath with a dual vanity. We liked one of the contractors we had interviewed but thought we would give one more a try... Spazio LA. Well, let's just say that our little idea of a closet became something much, much more. When we first met Essi and David, of Spazio, we clicked almost immediately. The vibes were good! Essi was talking to us about the scope of the work and David was listening until he wandered away for a bit. We kept discussing things with Essi and then David returned only to say that he knew what the plan was going to be. So, we listened, and were simply blown away with his vision and plan for our home. The estimate for the job was very reasonable and after they left my wife and I knew that we were going forward with Essi and David. We felt bad for the other contractor, and let him down easy, but the vision that Spazio had was just too good of an option to pass on. We started the long journey back in June 2016 and recently finished here in April 2017. We had architectural plans drawn up and were given a couple of options to choose from before going forward. We chose the option that best suited our needs and were off and running. After city permits were pulled, and everything was approved, we were given a 3 to 4 month window for job completion. Even with all the rain California received this year we stayed on schedule. You should know that we chose to stay in the front portion of our house while the remodel was going on. The cost savings was immense and we toughed it out over that 4-month period. It wasn't easy, especially with two kids under the age of 5, but Spazio did everything in their power to make us comfortable. Now that it's all over we can breathe easier and really enjoy our new home! We ended up adding about 300 square feet. That included a new family room off the kitchen with an entertainment center and barn doors (so cool), an entirely new hallway design which included access to all three bedrooms, a master suite redesign including a brand new walk-in closet and Zen inspired master bath, a new bedroom, new location of our washer and dryer (in the newly designed hallway), and a new entry/exit door to the backyard! We ended up getting all new copper pipes, a new AC unit, a new furnace, a brand new roof, new engineered hardwood flooring, a beautiful skylight in our master bath, and the list goes on. I also want to mention that Essi and David were never, ever pushy about anything, and always respected our decisions. Any decision made was our own. They always stayed very professional and diplomatic throughout the entire process. My wife and I were very hands on throughout, and can be quite persnickety at times, but were always treated with the utmost respect from everyone associated with Spazio. From the plumber, to the electrician, to the roofers, to the painters, to the hardwood floor installers, everyone was respectful, pleasant, and absolutely great at what they specialize in! I honestly can't say enough about this company. My wife and I were looking for people that we could trust and we knew from the very beginning that our remodel was going to be done right. Essi and David played different roles throughout the process but were always so responsive with text, email, and/or phone calls. If you're looking for a company that takes pride in their work, look no further, and schedule an appointment with Spazio LA! I can assure you that you will be overjoyed with the results when all is said and done. Well, I think it's time for me to wrap up this review... I have to go enjoy my new house! Thank you so much Essi, David, and everyone associated with our remodel. We'll be giving you our highest recommendation to all of our friends, family, and colleagues! We're extremely excited to create lasting memories in our beautifully redesigned home!!"

FAQs for brick and stone patios, walks, and steps installation projects in Pinon Hills, CA

When cleaning your flagstone patio, begin by gently hosing off loose dirt and debris. Use a mild solution of white vinegar and water or diluted dish soap to scrub the surface with a soft-bristled brush. Avoid using abrasive tools, such as wire brushes, as they can damage the stone’s seal and finish. This careful approach effectively removes mold and grime while preserving the natural beauty of your patio.

Flagstone naturally offers a neutral palette that includes shades of grey, black, red, yellow, brown, and tan, and its inherent color cannot be altered. Choosing varieties like bluestone provides a subtle bluish tint that complements many exterior designs. These natural hues enhance curb appeal and create a refined, timeless look in your outdoor space, ensuring a sophisticated finish with minimal upkeep.

Flagstone for a patio must have a minimum thickness of 1.5 inches to reliably support furniture and foot traffic. Using stone that is two to three inches thick is recommended to ensure lasting durability. The increased thickness prevents cracking under load and enhances long-term performance. Investing in thicker flagstone provides superior stability and resistance to weather conditions, ensuring your outdoor space remains both safe and attractive.

You can paint a flagstone patio by using a high-quality, outdoor elastomeric latex paint designed for heavy foot traffic. Painting not only refreshes the patio’s appearance but also creates a waterproof barrier that protects the stone from damage. Regular reapplication every one to two years maintains its durability and visual appeal, ensuring your patio remains both stylish and well-protected.
