He treated me like I was his only client and genuinely acted like he owned the company. I got five quotes before starting this project. Price is always a factor when it comes to something as major as painting the entire exterior of your home. But from my first interaction with Paul and Claire, I had a feeling this company was different—and I was 100% right. Not only did they pressure wash and thoroughly prep the entire home, but they also used top-of-the-line Dunn-Edwards paint. To my surprise, their quote actually came in as the lowest of the five. "Wayne is great and his crew does outstanding work. The price was competitive--you get what you pay for. Wayne and his crew arrived on time, he carefully supervised the work they were doing (including doing over anything not done to his satisfaction!) and the work was completed within the time frame estimated. This is the second time I’ve used them and after seeing the job they did, I can truthfully say that I will never paint another house myself—my painting skills can’t compare. They were patient with the changes I requested. While painting the interior they had to work around me and my pets every day, leaving us enough rooms to live in while they painted. "Bill Chacon responded very quickly to my call for help. The tenant moved out on Wednesday, March 27th. The new tenants wanted to start moving in on Saturday, March 30th. It was not a big job, but First Rate treated it as if it were the only job in the world. The team patched and painted on Friday, providing a safe area in the living room for temporary storage of furniture. On Sunday, everything was ready for the new tenants. In addition to the $325, Bill also charged me $50 for cleaning <strong>before</strong> painting, which the departing tenant was supposed to do. This $50 was reasonable and I deducted it from the tenant's security deposit. <br /> Back in February, First Rate patched and painted an entire apartment and garage for me for $1,600.00. The garage required creativity because it was just plywood that had never been painted. It was also very ugly because the departing tenants had removed a lot of shelves and then patched, so the walls looked like smeared-up plywood. Plywood soaks up paint, but Bill experimented and found a cheap way to paint, which saved a lot of money. <br />"
