"Chris always returned the calls in timely manner. Concrete projects usually need waiting based on company's book-of-work and weather. Therefore, Chris proactively called me every two weeks to update me the latest, after he told me in Mar that my project probably be on in May. The price is very reasonable. "I highly recommend Stephen Arthur Concrete for any concrete repairs that you may be in need of. My dealings with Stephen were completely pleasant through the entire process. In my experience, this cannot always be said with contractors. I was impressed with Stephen’s prompt response when I first contacted him about the concrete repair that I needed done at my new home. He came soon after to look at the project and explain all that was happening with the problem. (The previous owners covered the problem up and left it to me to solve). Stephen also got me a quote quickly. I can’t emphasize how important this was to me as I was getting several quotes and other contractors just did not operate this promptly or efficiently. Stephen’s prices were completely fair for the work that had to be done. Even though it wasn’t a huge job it was still costly due to the nature of concrete work. I felt of all the bids that I received Stephen’s was the fairest and most relevant.(That does not mean it was either the least or most expensive.) I decided to hire Stephen for the repair but had to wait for it due to the weather and his availability. He stayed in contact with me and when a cancellation happened on his end, called me and got my project on his schedule earlier than anticipated. I so appreciated that! And the work…. Excellent! I was so happy with the finished product but also the entire way along in the process. It went exactly as Stephen had described to me. It took the course of a week to do but each day that the crew worked on the project they cleaned up thoroughly after. My new front porch looks so good and Stephen Arthur Concrete kept it within the design integrity of the house. He also had to repair and replace ironwork on the porch and made it so much better than it was before. I can’t recommend Stephen and his crew enough for all of your concrete needs."

"Tim and his father did a great job replacing a couple squares of sidewalk at our home that were done improperly by a different contractor. They got me an estimate and fit me in their schedule quickly, all while doing the work the right way at a fair cost. I would definitely ask them to do additional work in the future and recommend them if you need concrete or masonry work as well. They are also licensed in Columbus and insured. Before hiring any vendor to do work at your home, I highly recommend you verify both of those things. I came across a number of other concrete vendors who did not have either or both of those documents and some were less than forthcoming about it."

"Chase and Jared arrived promptly at 9:30 am and worked for quite a while breaking up and digging out the old concrete. They took a break to obtain the supplies needed to finish the job then spent several more hours in the hot sun putting in the new step and concrete next to the driveway. They did superior work, answered all my questions and were very pleasant to work with. We have used this company before and knew that they do an excellent job. Mark Rodgers himself had already come out to give us an estimate. His wife, Anne, kept in touch regularly with emails and texts to update us on the possible date for the work. "David actually came and measure the job to be done instead of giving me an estimate based on a satellite image of the driveway as several other vendors had done. He and his crew showed up on time on the day of the installation and were very professional in the removal of the old driveway and the installation of the new one. They took great care in making sure our invisible dog fence remained operational & intact. We were impressed with the clean-up they did at the end of the job. "Ron, the owner gave us an estimate and called with a proposed date to complete the project.  He did not ask for any deposit and said we could pay him when we were satisfied with the job.  On the first day they removed the old patio using a bobcat with a hydraulic hammer.  I told him that I didn't want the yard damaged so he said that he would bring the bobcat in the yard only one time and he kept his word.  The bobcat didn't do any damage.  They hauled the broken concrete through the garage utility door using a wheelbarrow.. The next day they formed the new patio and verified with my wife that they design was satisfactory.  Due to the extreme heat they decided to pour the concrete the following morning to assure a quality result.  The next day they poured the concrete using wheelbarrows.  After the concrete partially dried they applied a powder and used stamp pads and formed the design in the concrete.  Stamping concrete is a very messy job and the powder is very dusty.  The following day they came back to clean and seal the stamped concrete.  I was impressed with their knowledge of the business, their attention to detail (not damaging my yard) and their willingness to work in extreme heat.  . They were also careful to clean the house, driveway and the area at the end of each day and upon completion of the job.   "

"I needed concrete for a 16 x 20 garage and a 15 x 16 driveway to connect to the current driveway. I am a very picky customer. From May 2020 to July 2020, I interviewed seven concrete people. When I interviewed Terry, I liked the detail that he went into and the questions he asked about what I wanted. Terry asked questions that none of the other concrete people asked. The cost Terry quoted was in the 80th percentile of the quotes I received. Terry told me when he would start and he met that start time. At the start of the project, we went into a lot of detail about what and how things were to be done. I wanted to use Simpson Strong-Tie concrete anchors. These had to be placed at very specific measurements. I wanted a monolithic pour that included a 4 thick pad on top of a 12 x 12 footer, which sat on 18 wide x 36 deep support pillars. These were all tied together with rebar. I also used wire mesh with fiber in the concrete. Due to the grade and slope, Terry recommended a French drain, which was added. As I talked to Terry, I could tell that he was very conscientious and cared about the work he produced. Because of this I felt at ease and trusted that the project was in good hands. The job had some bumps that Terry dealt with and turned out fine. Terry had to navigate around phone lines, water lines, and drain pipes. Terry put back and rough graded the dirt that was moved. This was very helpful. In the end, the work was completed in time and looks great. I have had several people stop by while they were walking. They all said the concrete looks great and was done well. When I need any other concrete work, Terry will be the one I call. I have already recommended Terry to other people."
