"Can you say TOTAL TRANSFORMATION !!! The Monk's team led by Bill did an outstanding job renovating our kitchen and back entry way. The team was courteous, professional and communicated regularly with us. This was the first time we did anything at this scale (a complete gutting and rebuild of the kitchen) and the Monk's team answered all my many questions and helped set my mind at ease. They were very clear on what could be done and provided great recommendations and guidance (These cabinet, fixture, backsplash and wall colors should work well together. Update the lighting. Don't go for a super powerful range hood - it would be overkill and would require make up air (a new term for me) and additional cost). Starting from the initial review meeting and estimates, meeting with the design consultant, signing off on the contract, and ultimate the execution of the project, the Monk's team did a fantastic job. Though we ended up purchasing most of the materials from other vendors, the Monk's installation team was quick yet did a wonderful job with the flooring, a new wall, cabinets, painting, plumbing, backsplash, lighting, electrical, repairing the window area, venting range hood to the outside, and removal and reattachment of appliances. It came together beautifully and we absolutely love the end result. Thank you Monk's."

"Overall, I had a great experience working with Precision Painting Plus. From a professional standpoint they were excellent — great communication, quick response time, and thorough follow-up. The painting itself looks very good, but I did notice a few spots that could have been cleaner, such as some paint on the white moldings, a drip mark, and areas around the trim that weren’t as sharp as I’d hoped. Nothing major, but worth mentioning. All in all, I would recommend them and would use them again, just with a little more attention to detail next time."

"Five Star Painting provided terrific customer service and was extremely great to work with. Due to many unfortunate circumstances, we needed this job to be started and completed in a time-sensitive fashion (started within 7 days). Multiple companies scoffed at our time frame, saying that they could not start and finish a project so quickly. Finally, I found Five Star Painting. Bob at Five Star Painting informed me that he would be able to make an exception due to our situation, despite the current typical start time of 14 days. He made the necessary accommodations and completed the work quickly and at the time that we agreed. The only downside was that the initial paint job was not as clean as I had hoped, with some paint splatters (spots) on the door and window frames and moldings. I called Bob to express my dismay, and he quickly rectified the situation in a timely fashion. He drove to our home and made sure that all the blemishes were corrected and the paint job was truly pristine! It's easy to see that Bob runs a business where customer satisfaction is the top priority. I contacted him whenever I needed; never did I spend hours or days waiting for a reply. Communication was rapid and painless. He followed through on every agreement and commitment he made. Although the work was not perfect initially, he was quick to make amends and see that we were 100% satisfied. I recommend Five Star Painting to all my friends and family looking for professional painters who care about providing high-quality service and truly care about their customers."

"I’ve been a customer of Wilber’s for several years. Up till now I’ve always found them to be reasonable in price, professional, reliable and trustworthy. I don’t know what’s happened but, they are no longer the company they used to be. I recently hired Wilbers to repair a loose newel post at the bottom of my stairs. When Danny the estimator came he explained that it might be an easy fix or more involved if they needed to install a new 4X4 interior post. Though I requested that he provide estimates for both scenarios he only sent the estimate for the worst case scenario. I let that go because I trusted that they would do the right thing should it prove to be an easy fix. When they arrived it turned out that all that was needed was to replace the wooden board in the basement with a 2 ft. 2x4 and tighten the bolt that runs inside the post. The workers were here for 1 hour and for this Wilber’s decided that a fair price was $820. It seemed absolutely outrageous to me that they would charge me $820 to tighten a bolt so I tried reaching out to Wilber 3 times and asked that he call me back to discuss. Well he never called me back. I can only assume that he knows full well that he did is wrong and is unable to justify his outrageous pricing. It’s sad that Wilber thinks this is how you should treat a loyal customer and it’s certainly disappointing to discover what an unprofessional and unethical person he is. I certainly will never utilize the services of Wilbers ever again and I would caution anyone thinking of hiring them to think twice. Wilber is a man that lacks integrity and therefore someone you cannot trust to do business with."
