"I found All Tech by chance when my regular A/C company couldn't fit me in when I needed service for my rental house tenants. I looked in the yellow pages and saw All Tech's ad. I called, they fit me in that very moment. They found the problem and fixed it right away - it just needed a computer board replacement. I was so impressed with their customer service and attitude toward me that I asked if they had time to look at my house air conditioning. I built my 4100 square foot house 3 years ago and the A/C has just never worked right. I have 2 heat pumps - a 4 ton and a 5 ton. The master bedroom is either burning up in the winter or burning up in the summer - the other bedrooms are just as difficult to control. The central areas of the house are comfortable. I had called out the installers several times but nothing was ever successful, so I just thought I had to live with it. I even considered installing wall fireplaces in the bedrooms for the winter. The All Tech technician, Cody, said he would take a look - he inspected the system and gave me real details about how the system was designed and suggested some improvements that should help. He scheduled a more detailed inspection for that afternoon. The guys arrived and climbed all over the attic and looked at everything. What they found was distressing. My 4 ton unit had been installed with a 4 ton air handler and a 5 ton compressor. This meant that the compressor was putting out more refrigerant than the coil could handle and so the unit was performing more like a 2 ton unit. Also, they could find no p-trap installed and there was water in the floor of my A/C unit room inside - I didn't even know that. Additionally, the ducts to the master bedroom had been installed immediately next to the air handler - there is supposed to be 4 feet of space before you have a duct and also the other bedroom duct was not offset from the master bedroom duct, so the air had no idea where to go - it was just buffetting around aimlessly. They guys drew this all out for me so I could be sure to understand - also I'm pretty mechanically inclined (for a woman) and they never treated my like I shouldn't be able to understand this stuff. Also they never said, "we should talk to your husband about this". I asked them to put in a new air handler that would match the compressor and they assured me they could fix the duct work and they said I needed some additional thermostat sensors. They gave me a great price and we scheduled the work for 2 days later. When they pulled the air handler unit they found a p-trap but you couldn't access it without pulling the whole unit. They also found NINE gallons of water in the return lines that had been accumulating there from the extra refrigerant causing sweating. They fixed everything on both units, fixed the duct work (had to change puny 6" ducts for 10" vents in my large master bedroom). They installed a water sensor and did it all for the originally quoted price. No matter what they ran into, they did not add any dollars to their price. They were THE MOST accommodating people I've ever worked with. I am so impressed with their openness, their courtesy, their response, and their explanations. Also, no matter what they found, they NEVER bad-mouthed the previous company that made the original installation. They just stated the facts and took pictures of everything they found. I find that attitude refreshing. JD and Cody and El are the 3 guys that I worked with and I will use them again and again. I highly recommend All Tech for your needs.
