"It went very well! They built a stone fire pit set in a decomposed granite sitting area, stone edging and flagstone walkways in the back yard. We liked it so much we expanded the project to a small flagstone sitting area in front shrub bed and stone edging around all of the other shrub beds. The pricing was fair, the work was top notch and on time. We would recommend them."

"We hired Brick Experts to do several projects at our house in Grapevine: - Stabilize a wing wall that had sunk by a couple of inches - Repair/complete some brick work that was incomplete when we bought the house - Repair several cracks in the mortar joints on our house and on our mailbox - Stabilized the brick work over our garage door (it was sagging and causing cracks in the mortar) David's crew did excellent work across the board. Their attention to detail was excellent, even despite the extremely hot weather (it was 104 degrees one of the days the crew was working!). I also appreciated that David checked in at the job site regularly to make sure the crew was on track, and performing the work properly. "Mr Davalos is amazing! We had bids that were 2 and 3 times more and we thought, “no way this guy is for real”. But his work was amazing. And he is the nicest person. Some of the stones were loose and he came out immediately and repaired. He calls to check and see if things are going well. I don’t even think he realizes he could charge so much more. I told him but he just smiled and said thank you. I know it’s hard to find good people who want to do good work but this guy is the best. I’m sure one day there will be a bad review for something but I do hope this review gets you to take a chance on him. We wanted a 22x22 patio with 6’ fire pit and did the work AND THEN added another 10x14 for a dining area for half the price anyone bid for the 22x22 alone. It almost cost the same for me to buy just the materials as he charged for the whole thing!"

Took the post down, removed the old mortar brick-by-brick, and matched the old mortar about perfectly when they built it back, replacing a single damaged brick (I had a few left they could use). He was the most responsive of the 3 companies I called and after discussion we decided at his recommendation to redo the steps versus just patching them which was what I had originally requested.
