"Beantown Roofing We recently were faced with the decision to have to invest in a new roof. After interviewing a few companies. 1 stood out from the rest. The rep from Beantown, Elias, was great. He was not only knowledgeable and professional but thorough, patient and was a pleasure to deal with. The choice was clear. After finalizing details we gave the commitment to move forward. Beantown on site Manager Derek took it from there. On install day he showed up by 7am with a crew ready to go He was also very professional, courteous and thorough explaining the process and what we could expect. Not only did his crew get right to work but Derek had a drone that he would fly and operate to document with real time photos of the work being done at various stages which was very cool. We have a good size Colonial home with sun-room and 2 car garage. They not only did incredible work on our roof but new fascia, gutters and downspouts throughout. All work done was top notch. Even the clean up process was impressive. By 8pm they were done, job completed, and every nail, staple or bit of trash found its way in the dumpster. Thank you to Elias, Derek and his amazing crew. "Project: Replace an Asphalt Shingle Roof My roof was over 30 years old so I went about obtaining 7 estimates from A+ rated companies. Waterman Building & Remodeling was not the lowest, but Andy Cannon, the rep, did an extraordinary job. He arrived on time, performed a thorough and professional examination of the roof, and gave me a confident explanation (not overkill like a few and not too little like some others) without trying to offer "special deals" for signing immediately or doing the company's advertising for a few weeks. He even suggested that I wait until spring, when the weather is warmer, to do the job to insure that the adhesive would seal properly, but we have been having a pretty warm winter and I wanted it done ahead of any future storms. Kelley in the office was able to schedule me within a week of my signing the contract. I liked that the job could be accomplished in one day and the foreman brought his own dumpster on wheels that did not have to be parked for days in my driveway. It was removed as soon as the crew completed their work. I liked that the crew arrived promptly when they said they would and included a woman. There was a mutual sense of trust in that they only asked for a $200 deposit (to cover the permit cost) and sent the invoice (which was for only $550 above the original estimate once they found they had to replace 8 rotten boards and some aluminum) to be paid only after the job was completed. They removed antiquated vent caps and installed newer, more aesthetic venting and they were able to remove and reattach my retractable deck awning. The roof color is beautiful and the Owens Corning Asphalt shingles are guaranteed for 50 years. Most important, the sign of an excellent company is when they go above and beyond: during the banging on the top of the roof, my wobbly glass kitchen light fixture fell and shattered. Andy came with me to Home Depot to help me select a new fixture, which he paid for and installed and then he also tightened the doors on a couple of my kitchen cabinets and fixed the hinge on my storm door! As a 67-yr-old widow, this was much appreciated. I can see how this company earned its Platinum Preferred rating."

"- Very prompt, professional service delivered at a great price on our Newton expanded bungalow. - Owner, Brian (in business for 25 yrs) assessed/priced job and, with on-site job supervisor, was available at every stage of job completion. - I requested 4 references which Brian gave me at random but said he doesn't call former customers in advance of such requests so wasn't sure if I'd get call backs. All 4 references DID return my calls and all raved about Roofer's Edge/Siding work and value. - Also, work crew included professional women which I appreciated. - Policy is payment at the end of the job when customer is satisfied. - Will definitely use again for siding and or windows given this roofing experience."

"LCT did an excellent job. They arrived right on time and had a large number of roofers--7-8 men. They worked quickly and carefully, draping the entire house and making an effort to watch out for plants (though some damage to them is inevitable). James, the salesman, recommended that we install plywood over the entire roof in order to be sure to get all the warranties on our Certainteed shingles. He showed me where they require less than a certain size maximum opening between roofing boards, and also showed me the many places in our attic where there were spaces larger than allowed. That added about $2400 to our quote, but seems like a good investment. They stripped the old roof, installed the plywood carefully over every roofing surface, shingled and cleaned up in one work day. They returned the next day to install a flat rubber roof on our porch, also very well done. While all their work was excellent, we were a bit concerned that many of the laborers traveled in the back of their vans--which had no seats or seatbelts. Nonetheless, the workers reported liking working for this company, and that they were well-treated. Luis, the owner, called us soon after to see if we were happy with the work. Nice work, LCT!"
