"Michael Krause and his son Dan were hired to remodel my kitchen demo, remove knee walls, and one main wall. Install custom cabinets I purchased from another company along with porcelain flooring. The installation was OK however there were many things with respect to attention to detail left unfinished Plumbing Connections to my dishwasher left lose and almost flooded my house and not secured to the cabinets or counter top. Also sharp long wood screws left protruding inside cabinets that my spouse almost cut her hand. Had to re-grout areas of tile flooring that were not filled in properly to begin with the later became an issue after several months post install. Pot lights that were left uninstalled and hanging from the ceiling when I asked about finishing Michael stated he just gave up and left them rather than provide a solution. In all fairness I did call Michael to fix he called me back next day I called back but never heard from Krause again. Not using this contractor again."

"The work was messy but The crew was very hard working. The jackhammer hit a pipe under our sink. They came back to fix that. While the amount of water was drastically reduced in our basement, I will never feel secure enough to finish it. They have returned 4-5 times to troubleshoot the problem because their service has a lifetime guarantee. The last time they came (2 years after original job) they added another sump pump and redug one of the ditches. It seems to have helped but I still see a very small amount of water seeping through a few cracks in the floor. With two small kids in the house, it's exhausting to keep having service people in and out of your house. I'm not happy it took so many visits, but I think overall that they were fairly quick in responding to my calls and getting out to our house."

"Overall Kevin’s team provided a good quality completed basement. It took longer than what we initially expected but the results were great. We were able to enjoy our new space during the holidays as well as other family get togethers. We recently had a small issue with a step that was part of the work. Kevin had someone come out and the repair was done within a couple of days. It was great that the works guaranteed!"

"We purchased a house that Dennis and his team had installed a waterproofing system in several years before we bought the house. We had the house for three years when a small leak developed. The team came in a repaired the leak free of charge because the system was warranted for the life of the property. It is unusual that a company is so committed to service and quality. Anyone looking to hire crawl space repairs should definitely consider this company. I don't see how anyone could go wrong with service like what they provided to us. They were amazing!"

"He was very nice to talk with and repaired our washing machine. He even helped sweep the water out."

"I was surprised at how much it cost. It cost $700 for an hour and 3 quarters of work. It was supposed to be $99 for 500 feet and when he came here he said it was an extra 1000 or something like that. It was much more than I expected. When he came to my house he said it was bigger so he had to add another 1000 feet on. I thought the advertising was misleading.  It was basically 1500 square feet but that wouldn’t make up to $7000. They came out pretty quickly. The equipment he had was he pretty simple and not capital expensive so it was a very high price for an hour and quarter of work."

"What started out as a major roof repair, ended up with a leak-free roof and a beautiful new front porch. Chet worked with us every step of the way and kept us informed of the progress on a daily basis. The construction crew was awesome! They were courteous, considerate and extremely dedicated - working in extreme heat and well past quitting time to finish the job. The quality of the workmanship and the materials far exceeded our expectations. We have already made recommendations to neighbors and friends and will not hesitate to use Strauss Homes for our next project."
