Small jobs welcome

"Nothing. They are currently doing other landscaping projects, snow removal and home projects. Very professional. He worked around my schedule and recommended a painter who we hired too."

"First thing they did was to make up a brochure with a color picture of how it would look when done which was beautiful. Dan seemed very professional and started the job as agreed. In the process of moving boulder rocks they broke the electric line going to our garden lights. Two of the rose bushes that they planted died before the year was up. When I called Dan, he said that they guaranteed none of their plantings but they would replace them only because we did the work on fixing the electric line that they broke. Two more of my plants(Grey Owl Junipers) died over the past winter and when I looked them up on the computer it says that they should be planted in a warmer zone. It was not a cold winter here in the Poconos but they died anyway. I spoke to another nursery and he said he had never heard of Grey Owl Junipers being planted in this area. In addition, I asked over and over again for another picture like the one they gave me originally which I lost, but they refused to do so. I would think it shouldn't be difficult to make a copy of the original picture."

"Justin and Deb at Flood Landworks were wonderful to work with. Justin promptly provided an estimate with a diagram specifying the plant and layout. Deb also came to see the layout before we went to their nursery to view the plant choices. Deb and I then made changes based on our preferences. They are very flexible. Changes were also made on the day of planting after plants were positioned. Deb sent down additional plants as needed. The work took two complete days during which old large shrubs were removed, beds shaped and cut out, placed 2 feet of stone along the perimeter, top soil and peat moss added, and finished with natural brown mulch. The 3 men working were professional gentlemen who aimed to please. They went above and beyond to spread the leftover stone, soil and mulch wherever I wanted it. We are extremely happy with the result. We had 5 estimates ranging from $2800. (Flood’s) to $6000 and have not regretted our choice."
