"Alex and crew built our front walk and landing pad and rear landing pad from our decks. They were professional in all regards. They started and finished the job on time and were responsive to all our needs. I would definitely hire them for any landscape projects I might have in the future. "

"Liam is a highly versatile handyman. He did various jobs to get the landscape on my property in order. Everything was done beyond satisfactorily. The work he did for me: -A copious amount of weeding, including poison ivy and a heavily established Virginia creeper -trimming and removal of many bushes and shrubs -leaf removal -roof cleaning -gutter cleaning -gutter repair -installation of gravel -arranged for an arborist to take care of several tree removals and trimmings -removal of all waste from the above work Liam not only does his work well, he does it mindfully. Whenever he isn't completely sure if something is part of what you want done, he gets clarification instead of going with his best guess. He's willing to give his personal opinion of what is necessary and what would look good. I will be recommending his services to anyone who needs yard work done. "

Customers say: Quality work

"Outstanding job! We had John and one of his workers replace our back porch and were beyond pleased with the end result! They were professional and completed the job in a timely manner. He offered suggestions to improve the railing and it turned out beautiful! They even cleaned up after themselves! Very reasonable prices and very nice people. Would highly recommend."

"This is the second time I have used Stone Craft. The first time was for installing flashing around my chimney after I had a new roof put on. The second time was for pointing and waterproofing. Both jobs were done effectively and professionally. Stonecraft is a excellent company."

"Casey built 3 new wood tie walls, backfilled with stone, and topsoil and then planted assorted shrubs. He matched height of the corresponding older walls on the right of the steps (see photos) which have been done over the past 15 years. The new walls are about 25' long each with a angled curve to follow the grade. In addition he mulched the front of the house, trimmed all the shrubs around the property and delivered 2 cords of wood. Casey is easy to work with and showed up as planned to complete the work as agreed. He guarantees the shrubs for a year and so far they are doing great. He has been great about replacing the few shrubs in the past that didn't do well after he planted them."

"We first came to Dan Erb looking to improve the look of our front yard. In addition to surveying the yard, Dan spent time talking with us to learn more about our tastes and what we were looking for. The resulting design was far better than anything we had imagined. Dan's 3-phase design consisted of an enlarged and resurfaced stone driveway, stone steps leading down to a hardscape patio/fire pit area (Belgard pavers) and best of all, a magnificent three tier waterfall that weaves in between the trees and into a waterless pond. The area was then finished off with Rhododendrons, decorative ferns, Lenten roses and several other plants to give it a beautiful, natural woodsy look we love. <br /> Once the project was underway, Dan and his team worked hard and stuck to their schedule, putting in a full day's work each day until the project was completed. While the number of trees in the yard made it difficult to bring in the big earth-moving machines required to complete the project, they took care in navigating the machines so as not to damage the surrounding area. You can tell by the way they worked that they're all highly skilled, experienced professionals that are passionate about their craft. <br /> Thanks to Dan and his team, what was once a drab, ordinary front yard is now one that's truly fit for Better Homes and Garden's magazine. No hyperbole. We've already had several neighbors stop and comment on how beautiful it is (not to mention all the cars that slow to a crawl and check it out when they drive by). <br /> We couldn't be happier with the results or more strongly recommend Dan Erb and his team. The creativity and execution of the design could not have been any better. If you're looking for a truly great landscaper, give Dan a call. <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Pocono Summit, PA

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
