"We had to get the roof replaced due to hurricane damage and ended up interviewing around 10 contractors for the job. Collis Roofing was one of the last companies we met with, but we are sure glad we did. From the start, Wally was the consummate professional. He assisted us with everything from the initial assessment to helping us select an appropriate color for the shingles. He patiently walked us through the entire process. Next up was our Project Manager, Chris B, and his install team. They arrived onsite early on the day of installation, worked efficiently, and cleaned up afterward like they weren't ever there. Chris provided constant updates on the progress throughout the entire installation and took plenty of pictures for insurance purposes. After the project was complete, the torch was passed to Ashley with the account receivable department. She was able to walk me through the final invoicing and was very helpful with all payment related questions. After all payments were received, I worked with Stephanie who promptly handled the post-project deliverables, with excellent communication. "I hired Elite Home Paint to repaint my cabinets. Unfortunately my cabinet doors were in very bad shape, as they were partially sanded down and also had paint stripper poorly applied. As I'm a very black and white person, I reached out to Ariel and sent him photos of the doors, and he said he could do the service. When he got at my house with his crew, they saw the doors, and the service was still confirmed to be possible, even though the quality of the doors were bad. They got to it, and when I got home from work that morning (I work nights, so didn’t see the job completed until the next day), I was very disappointed. They didn’t completely sand down the doors or drawers, so all the marks that were on the units showed up on the paint, very poorly. When I contacted Ariel, he blamed the parts on being damaged and that no one would have done the service for the price he did. I explained to him that at no moment, he told me that the condition would have impacted the end product, as I thought he would properly sand and DIDN’T! As I continued to inspect the unit, I found multiple spots with paint drips, parts completely poorly painted, still white (I painted my cabinets black btw). I tried contacting Ariel to try to settle this peacefully and he basically told me the job was done, and BLOCKED my phone number (I know this because when I call it goes directly to voice mail, and when I use a friends phone, he picked up. Sent a msg through Facebook as well and completely ignored. I would leave it alone if it were just the spots of the poor sanding, but all the white spots is completely unacceptable. Very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and poor service, definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND this company."
