"Contractors Inc just finished refacing my kitchen cabinets and they look fantastic! In fact, they're nicer than I expected! The whole process was great from getting the estimate from Jon to the installation by Bayron. My kitchen is tricky because it's an historic DC building with quirky sizes and fixtures, and it slowed down the process, however no corners were cut and I didn't have to make any compromises. I've gotten used to settling for options I didn't really want thanks to this condo and its oddities, but like I said, it's even better than what I originally wanted. The cabinets are of excellent quality and Bayron's work is impeccable. I highly recommend them!"

Mike, the sales rep was very professional and spent a lot of time explaining their process. He allowed me time to make a decision, and I decided to go forward. A few months later, the cabinet installation by Simon was exceptional. His attention to detail and workmanship was outstanding. He explained what he would be doing each day, what the process would entail, and alerted me when it would "get loud." "We had our maple kitchen cabinet doors and drawer fronts refinished by them. The refinished cabinet doors looked better than when original. The refinishing job really brought out the grain in them. They were redone in the same stain as original and the color matched the cabinet frames perfectly. It was a great value for the money. Much less than refacing. When Pete came out to estimate the job, we asked about refinishing and refacing and he gave us an estimate for both. He readily answered our questions about the work. Communication was good and mostly by email. Joe, the refinisher was very friendly and polite. He comes out and removes the doors and drawer fronts to take them. He returns and reinstalls and aligns the doors. He kept in communication with us when an unforeseen issue made it not possible to keep or original reinstall appointment. I highly recommend this company."

"Erick came to the house to fix a Japanese "tansu" which is like a chest of drawers made out of wood....it had sentimental value for us.  A dog had chewed the corner and there were other gouges and nicks all.  He fixed everything and it looks great. You can't tell at all.  Also, he repaired some worn spots on our kitchen cabinets and also filled a dent in our coffee table. All this for just over $300 - I thought it was a good deal.  I highly recommend Erick and Furniture Medic for wood furniture repairs.

"I was interested in getting new kitchen cabinets, but I did not want to make any changes in the current layout.  I found out that refacing was the best option for what I wanted based on need and cost.  They were very efficient and professional.  I was very pleased with my new cabinets.  The only downside to the new cabinets are the brackets that hold the drawers are not equip to hold much weight.  So, the company has to come out to reinforce the drawers after installation."

"The provider did an excellent job. Knowing what I sent him, I could hardly believe how beautiful the refinished desk was. He stripped the desk, repaired some damage, refinished the desk, and cleaned the brass pulls. His work is absolutely fantastic.
He also picked up the desk and delivered.
I had a coupon for a $199.00 credit, but even without it I would consider his work well worth the price.
The one caveat that I have is the provider is a craftsman, not a businessman, hence the lower marks for punctuality and responsiveness. He does amazing work, but he does it on his own schedule. If you need something refinished or restored within a certain time frame, he is probably not the provider for you. But if you are interested in fine craftsmanship and can wait for it, I would recommend this provider very highly.

"Renaissance Restorations did a great job sanding, priming, and painting dark wood paneled walls in our family room (they did other smaller items but this was the big bulk of the work) - from start to finish, they were very professional and easy to work with. They're responsive, on time, worked hard, cleaned up after themselves, responsible, and very willing to change things when I noticed that I preferred the trim to be painted white instead of the beige color of the walls. They even finished a little bit earlier than originally anticipated. Love what a difference the painting did - it really brightened up the room and made a huge difference! We've had another company paint other parts of our house before and we were not quite that happy with that other company. Rene and his son, Jake, and the rest of the Renaissance Restoration crew were great - will look to hire them again for more items on our to-do list in the Spring!"
