"I found A A Roofing Co the first winter after buying our house 18 years ago and rainwater leaked the through the ceiling in many places. It was a big job, a full roof replacement. My roof is a flat tar & gravel; a rowhouse in Washington DC. I had gotten many quotes and A A Roofing stood out easily as the most responsive, realistic with promises, workload, pricing, timing, actually came out to do a (free) in-person assessment and sent photos, and even still, came out as the 2nd lowest bid! They did such a thorough job, that almost 19 years later, my roof is still in great shape. They’ve done work twice now since then to do a recoating and once some maintenance work. They also come out as needed to check (for free) on the status of the roof; they always send me photos and are upfront and honest. This last time I was due for a recoating and to be assessed for a total replacement and they said my roof is A A OK :) - nothing is even needed at this time. (Continued below…)"

"Isai was great at diagnosing longstanding issues I was having with my roof and poor installation that was performed by a different roofer 15 years ago. He didn't try to up-sell me on the repair service I was initially seeking; but, after hearing his expertise on my mansard style roof, I opted to have him replace my entire roof and resolve issues that are likely to cause issues in the next few years. He and his crew did the work on time and with the expertise that I was expecting. "Lucky for me, a recent windstorm ripped off my gable fascia. I say lucky because my insurance adjuster brought with him Randall Specht from ReBuild Inc. He also inspected my 3-yr old roof and, although there was no wind damage, Mr. Specht identified shortcuts taken by my original roofing firm –shortcuts I would never have seen nor had the knowledge to identify. According to the shingle manufacturer, those shortcuts were not in accordance with their approved installation methods; problems would not have been covered by my warranty nor would any resulting damage. Although Mr. Specht was brought in only to identify potential wind damage, his professionalism and patient detailed explanation provided me with enough information to intelligently discuss the installation issues with the manufacturer and my original roofing firm. Then, after the original roofer “fixed” his installation errors, I had additional questions about the repair quality. Although I am a civil engineer, I am not knowledgeable about roofing practices. Recalling how professional Mr. Specht was, I contacted him again. He was as generous with his time & explanation as he was originally. Kudos to ReBuild!! Mr. Specht’s professionalism – his honesty, customer service and…kindness -- speaks volumes about him and ReBuild. He went out of his way to ensure I could have my original roofer fix my roof correctly, even though nothing was in it for him or for his firm.
