"It went very well....technician called prior to arrival as promised and came at the beginning of the quoted service window. The technician was very polite and professional. He got the job done quickly and took payment over the phone since I was not personally at the house. The problem was corrected quickly and the mess was cleaned up when finished. I don't know that much about the price...I know that any home appliance work is costly, so I was thankful for the money I saved on the service call. Overall, very satisfied with the service and will plan to use them again.

"Bill, did an excellent job removing the old door and door frame and installing the new stuff. Bill and his wife came to the house, measured the door and frame, went to the hardware store, purchased a new door/frame combo, and were finished in about 3.5 hours. This includes having to go back to the store and replacing the brand new door/frame because of damage on the corner to the first one. Despite the extra gas and trouble returning the new door/frame kit for another one, they remained very friendly and positive. In addition to the work performed, I learned some great landlord tips! I highly recommend these guys and will certainly do business with them again."

"The toilet needed to be replaced. I was told that I would only get the builder standard grade toilet even though I was signed up with the highest plan. The plumber was replaced my toilet with something that was definitely builder grade and not even close to what I had. I called CHOICE and they told me that it should have been replaced with something comparable to what I had. Twice they told me they were going to have my claim looked at and I have not received a call about it or any new information. The new toilet is wrong in size and specs and doesn't fit well where it is in the bathroom."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
