"The service was excellent! They arrived to pick up the vehicle a day earlier which was great. They delivered the vehicle right to my daughter's door and found a side street to unload. The service was delivered within the time frame given. All of my questions were answered via phone or email and the paperwork was seamless and the price was very reasonable."

"The job went great!  Michael was training two newly hired helpers.  He was patient yet firm as he directed them in the removal of our effects from the storage sheds, loading them into the truck, then unloading them into our home.  Michael was very professional and polite as were his helpers.  He definitely belongs at the top of Angies List. <br />"

"They were not successful due to unobtainable, obsolete parts.  I was with them through this entire journey and respected their technical knowledge.  The fireplace was Not one of the brands that they represent, but they showed definite detailed knowledge of the unit, nevertheless.   I will work  with them to find a replacement unit. <br />"

"They are honest about things that needed to be done, that he could or could not do. He has a lot going on and so he has to work on bigger project first but that is common. Sometimes if he do not have a big job you cannot really expect to get quick service, that kind of goes for a lot of people. I would use his services again in the future, as eventually it’s the right thing."

"In retrospect I am quite happy that I took the path I did as there were several unexpected developments and/or requirements that I had asked for that were "unexecutable" during the course of construction that we were able to fix on the fly. I was very happy with Scott's attention to detail during the course of construction and his quality of work far surpassed most other residential contractors I have dealt with. One of the first challenges was trying to get a permit to do the work. It turned out that the property I purchased had a barn on it that had never had a permit issued for its construction. (Not disclosed in the seller disclosure). As a result the issuance of a permit was delayed a bit until we reached an agreement with the county that we would retroactively get a permit for the structure and do any required fixes that a structural engineer determined were necessary. I ended up having to get Scott to do some additional concrete work on the barn foundations to make the county happy and hired a separate contractor to do some of the wood structural work to keep Scott focused on getting the house completed on time. I am a retired engineer with some experience in doing construction projects. Scott would be the first to tell you that I am a somewhat uncompromising taskmaster and I really appreciated the fact that Scott would push back based on his extensive experience in what works in home construction. We made several adjustments to the layout of the home as we went along and we had a good give and take on what I was adding vs items that were abandoned for a credit and the overall cost impact. The only issue I had with our project centered on critical path planning. For those not familiar with large projects this is the planning that determines what work that needs to be done today (eg: material ordering) to ensure that the work we are going to be doing in the next several weeks goes smoothly. This improved as we got through the project and at the end we ended up getting it done in the agreed time frame (excluding the delay in getting the permit at the outset of the project). I would certainly recommend Scott to anyone looking for a quality contractor to do either a renovation or construction project."

"We live out of state but were preparing a home to sell in the Port Townsend area.  I called several contractors, including Pierson Contracting, to obtain bids on several issues that had come up on a home inspection report.  Scott was the only one that responded and he came out right away to take a look at the scope of the project.  He put us at ease and was confident that they would have no problem fixing the issues that were pointed out, and he made some suggestions as to other items that could be fixed or updated that would appeal to potential buyers. <br /> After providing a verbal estimate on some of the minor repairs we decided to move forward, and one member of Scott's team (Eric), got started right away.  It was evident that Eric was knowledgeable, meticulous and took pride in his work.  Just after the work got underway we had to leave town and were very hesitant about having work performed while we were away.  Leaving the home and entire contents in the hands of near strangers was extremely difficult.  Fortunately, Scott and his team kept us updated with phone calls, emails and photos on their progress.  As it turns out, the deck repairs were much more extensive than we originally anticipated, but the end result was worth it. <br /> I cannot emphasize enough how working with Pierson Contracting was the best decision.  Scott and Eric have shown professionalism, integrity and trustworthiness that is unmatched.  If you need a contractor that is responsive, people-oriented and provides stellar craftsmanship and pride in workmanship, look no further. <br />"
