"I don't enjoy posting negative reviews but can't stand the thought of someone else paying TWICE to correct Rent A Son's "repairs." Three years ago I paid Gary for a number of repairs, none of which were done to my satisfaction the first time. Gary was willing to come out to correct errors and damage caused by an improperly trained crew, but I have since had to pay AGAIN to have the underlayment in my home that was damaged by his saw cutting through my floor and hitting a water pipe and, more recently, some $3000 to replace the silicon roof coating that was improperly installed by Gary that has since caused extensive water damage to my home. Just a heads up, y'all."

"John, failed to show up and do a job that he had committed to. I own an apartment building in Daytona Beach and hire workers for various jobs regularly. I hired John Boris to check a bathtub leak in one of my apartment units and possibly change the valves. John seemed very nice at first and eager to do the work. He confirmed by text with me and my tenant that he would go to the property and do the work. Two days before the scheduled work date, I asked John if he would be willing to do more work, like hang ceiling fans. The next day he sent me a text and cancelled the work without any explanation leaving me with a leaking tub, a disappointed tenant. Stear clear from this guy who does not mind wasting your time and cares nothing about the customer. He is one of those guys that is only out for himself. Also, he said he was insured but then could not provide proof of insurance."

FAQs for wood fence repair projects in Port Orange, FL

The time it takes to install a swimming pool fence varies depending on the project's complexity. A simple installation can be completed in about two hours. However, if your project involves concrete work, regrading, custom installations, or challenging terrain, it could take up to two full days. Each additional factor increases the labor and time needed to ensure your fence meets safety standards.

Yes, installing a lock on your pool gate enhances safety by preventing unauthorized access. A self-closing, self-latching gate with a key-lock mechanism provides strong protection, helping to keep children and pets safe. Securing your pool gate adds an extra layer of security and offers peace of mind when using the pool area.

A pool fence requires a specific height to secure the pool area. In most states, the fence must be 48 inches tall; some regulations require 60 inches for enhanced safety. Checking local building codes guarantees compliance with these height requirements. A taller fence strengthens protection and improves the overall security of your pool area, ensuring it meets stringent safety standards.

Mesh and tempered glass are among the safest pool fencing choices because their design and smooth surfaces make them resistant to climbing attempts. They provide consistent, rigid barriers that prevent unauthorized access to your pool area. These materials ensure optimal safety for children and pets. In addition, incorporating a pool safety net further enhances protection and addresses additional security concerns, ensuring that your pool remains a safe environment for all users.

Pool fencing requirements vary by local, state, and federal regulations. In most states, installing a pool fence is mandatory for safety and insurance purposes. Ask your pool fence pro for local regulations or check with your local planning department to understand the specific height and design requirements for your area. Complying with these regulations ensures legal compliance and enhances safety.
