"Steele found that the project that we thought was isolated to one room was actually a multi room project. They did a good job of diagnosing the problem, treating and clearing out molded flooring, drywall, and framing. They dried everything out and had leaking windows re-installed and leaking brickwork sealed. I recommend them to anyone who has water damage that needs to be repaired."

Not even knowing if I would hire them they came out and looked at the problem and did a temporary fix, so more water wouldn't come into the basement before I was home to meet with them. They were the only company that came that was able to diagnose the problem and fix it. They came two days after I met with them and other companies had several week lead times. This is the first company in Nashville that I've had a good experience with, but I'm not reviewing them in comparison to others, they are independently deserving of a great review. "We began the building process of our new home in December of 2015 and move in in July 2016. I decided to not post negative reviews at the time because I had been so distraught during the process I just wanted to forget about the whole process and move on but today is the day to leave the review. The entire home building process was a nightmare from the beginning to end. The first issue was with basement door framed out to the wrong size, installed and charged for retaining walls without any communication to us after we specifically stated we did not want retaining walls. We had several windows and doors not centered properly. They installed the wrong tile in guest bathroom. And these were just a few of the issues we had during the build. I guess the one main issue was with the owner of the company and the way we were treated. We were told to not go to the home everyday and look for mistakes and any mistakes would be taken care at the end of the process. He locked us out of our own home and would not let us in to see what was going on until he received his final payment. He wanted the final payment before the house was completed. It was an issue everyday of something being done wrong or him treating us terrible. We did not have one change order in the home but he kept telling us that he had $30,000 of his own money in this home. Now I am posting this today, 6 years later because we decided to have the metal replaced on all our door frames due to the metal work being so bad. After removing the metal wrapping we found all the garage doors and man doors to be rotting and all the door frames are going to have to be replaced after only 6 years. Please beware!!!!!"

"I felt like I was taking a bit of a gamble when I decided to go with Lopez Home Services to repaint my home. They didn't have many reviews and appeared to be a husband and wife team just trying to get started. I'm pleased to report the gamble paid off. Saul's team did a great job at a very competitive price with a nice attention to detail. When a piece of wood needed to be replaced before being repainted they could handle it. The only real caveat I can give is that I have rather poor hearing and at times had a hard time understanding Saul over his accent. It was a one-way communication issue. He appeared to always understand me. But when that happened he was cool about just writing down what he was trying to tell me. The communication obstacle was really just a speed bump and only applied when I first met with Saul for the appraisal. Candice speaks fluent English. So if you have poor hearing like me (wear your earphones kids!), you might want to have a pen and pad handy. I would definitely hire them again for future painting/staining jobs and will keep them in mind for other types of repair/maintenance work."
