"Excellent customer service, professional, honest, fair prices, and fast turnaround. Overall it was a great experience working with Andre and Mocean Roofing and Construction. Andre promptly contacted me after I requested a quote on AngiesList to replace a shingle that had blown off during a recent storm. I provided him with a photo of the damaged area and he quickly recognized the color/manufacturer and made sure I had a good match. His price was fair - $100 for materials and labor - he would have to buy an entire pack and agreed to leave behind the extra shingles. He worked around the tenant’s schedule and went out the very next day (a Sunday). While on the roof he noticed other nearby areas needing repair - 3 field shingles. Replacing them required the removal and replacement of 9 ridge shingles. Instead of doing only what he was hired to do, he took it upon himself to correct all of the problem areas because, as he later told me, the job isn’t done right if he looks past the other damaged areas. I had worked it out with the tenant to pay him when the job was done (I live and work 500 miles away). After the job was complete, Andre sent me pics of the job. I was surprised to learn that he had done all of the extra work and had collected payment without requesting extra compensation for the added labor. I looked up his company on Facebook and their company’s statement is 100% true - they do professional work in a timely manner and focus on building relationships with each of their customers. As a long distance homeowner I have found it difficult in the past to find contractors that I trust to do good work at a fair price. I would absolutely hire them again and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for help in their areas of specialty (roofing and fencing, according to their Facebook page)."

"When Clyde came into my home he reviewed the problem, looked at pictures, followed the leak trail and knew the immediate problem of my leak and explained it was coming from the roof. While others were saying plumbing and were quoting high prices and work that did not need to be done. Sure enough, Cylde proved it was the roof and did the repairs. Cylde knows his stuff and was very professional. In fact at the end, my price was less with a one year warranty. Single ladies out there, not everyone can be trusted here in the South. These repairs included repairing a wall that had been opened to fix water lines in a neighboring unit, replacing carpet pad, matching and replacing baseboard that was taken during remediation, painting, and resetting the carpet. I also hired the Sharyland Handyman to replace the roof access door in the attic. I am pleased that the solution has already proven effective at keeping out the rain during the thunderstorms this week.
