Prior to coming out, Bill also gave me a walk-through on more common furnace issues that could have been causing my problem, and didn't come out until after he knew it wasn't something your average homeowner could handle. "They replaced our deck with Trex material (Trex is a much costlier material, but having practically no maintenance made it worth it) along with a super cool railing system which makes the deck feel so much larger. They also added a lower 5 x 17 section. They worked so hard in extremely hot temps. We couldn’t believe how fast the job was completed. The results are amazing. "Quality of product installed and workmanship I am pleased with. However, post install is why I have deemed necessary to leave this review. The crew left food waste in our yard and gutters. Lawn was not adequately swept for nails and staples. Upon reinstalling my TV antenna, observed pieces of shingle, siding, aluminum flashing, nails and staples in one gutter. This prompted me to inspect all gutters, where I found more of the same. Had two exhaust vents installed for bathroom fans. The crew did not leave necessary couplers to connect provided duct to vents in attic. The project manager provided necessary couplings by personally delivering to my house which I am appreciative of. Discovered packaging material from shingles, along with shingle remnants in my attic. The sales presentation and documentation was why I chose Palmer Construction over lowest bidder, about $5000. The owner and sales person have yet to reply to my emails and/or phone messages. The project manager is the only staff who contacted me and followed up. Not how I would run my business or manage my staff. They also jeopardized an opportunity to earn an additional project. I got a new roof which hopefully will last until I move and they got my money."

"When the snow started melting, we got a leak again, so I called him and he will be coming back. He put a fix on it last year and we weren't sure if it was going to hold, it didn't, so he is going to have to come back but he did try and do something that was less expensive to begin with rather than saying we have to replace the whole roof right then and we appreciated that. He had told us the fix might not hold up but he said let us try to put a patch on it first before we get the roof replaced. So he was trying to save us thousands of dollars and that was nice of him."
