"Alberto and Angel, did an incredible job. They immediately answered our call and arrived right away to do an estimate. Their professional behavior as well as cordial natures impressed us. We (seniours) had propped up the barely holding wind blown fence (340+ feet). Insurance covered affordable repair (Total replacement was over budget.) AG 's estimate for repair was perfect with satisfaction assured. The fence is obviously sturdy now and will outlast us! In additiion, it looks sensational. Metal poles were sunk in cement at correct intervals and then bracketed to the wood. Rotting cedar planks were replaced where necessary. We are thrilled and so relieved! We cannot recommend these gentlemen highly enough. Expert, honest professionals who know exactly what to do!"

"Franco Landscaping does quality work and no detail is left undone. The communication and scheduling is perfect and their follow up is great. They installed several hundred feet of welded steel pipe fence with steel mesh fabric and everything is perfect. I highly recommend Franco to anyone who needs fencing of any kind."

"Project took one week to complete the 33' of wall repair. Rodney did a great job repairing the decaying wall. He was able to save many of the blocks that had no signs of deterioration, thus saving me money for materials. Rodney then completed the stucco project in another week. He did an outstanding job applying the stucco, which greatly improved the overall look of my backyard fencing! Rodney's daily site cleanup is superb! Rodney is a true professional and very honest. Highly recommend!"

I called Yavapai Landscaping and Mario R., (my new hero) came right out and had us back up and running in a half hour. Professional. personable, prompt, and easily the BEST service we've had at our home since we bought here in 2019. Just can't say enough good things about Mario & Yavapai Landscaping!"

FAQs for wood fence repair projects in Prescott Valley, AZ

Financial responsibility depends on where the fence sits. If it’s clearly inside your lot, you foot the bill. When it’s right on the property line, state laws—California and Illinois are two examples—usually require both neighbors to split repair costs equally unless you agree otherwise. Check your local rules before scheduling work so you know exactly what you’re on the hook for.

Start by walking the fence line and noting every issue—loose boards, leaning posts, cracked panels. Next, gather at least three quotes from licensed contractors, comparing experience, warranties, and costs. Once you pick a pro, they’ll secure materials, reset posts, and fix or replace damaged sections. A thorough inspection and a qualified contractor keep the fence safe and extend its life.

Straightening a leaning fence costs an average of $200 to $400. A fencing pro will assess the damage, reset or replace the posts, and realign the panels so the fence stands upright again. Fixing the lean early on prevents further strain on framing and keeps the structure both sturdy and attractive.
