"Mack showed me all the dust and dirt before and after he performed the work. The difference was amazing. I was always skeptical of duct cleaning. No longer! Mack made me a believer and a loyal customer. If you think you need your ducts cleaned, give Mack a call. He’s very knowledgeable and super friendly."

"That was excellent. That worked really well. It showed that it was negative, which is good. I had it tested by a different company before and they found radon. The builder put on an active radon fan system so I hired this company to do a post radon test. They were excellent. I’ll give them a top rating. They were prompt. I had the lab results within a week."

"Aug  2014 <br /> The installers, Lou, Fred and 3rd installer (can't remember name)were polite, flexible and went beyond expectations. The installation began on the scheduled day without a needed part and progressed as far as possible. Day 2 was a Saturday and the job was completed as promised. They  consulted me for preferences. <br /> The decision to use Sobieski was driven by the warranty, 10 years for parts and 5 years for labor. I read several reviews of equipment for which I had received estimates. I concluded that the  warranty was a top priority since the "better" equipment can be a lemon and quality of installation can vary.     <br /> EPILOGUE JULY 2015 <br /> Starting from the first use of the AC after installation, there were several interruptions in cooling. After multiple service calls, Chris Howard, the lead technician deduced that my hallway light switch controls the electrical outlet in the attic that provides power to the condensate pump. When the hall light was switched off, the condensate  pump turned off, filled up, then the AC stopped cooling. Now that my hall light is on 24/7, the AC is working well.  <br /> <br /> <br />"

"<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />overcharged for hours not performed -   disappointed -   this seems to be an issue with most housecleaners -   good for a while then it becomes so routine that they forget to be thorough and often becomes a hit or miss job.   This disappointments me as I always explain that this is an issue and it is important that each week is always worth the money that I invest in their performance. <br />"

"Ryan & Wade were very prompt arriving at 7:15 am and finished the furnace and Honeywell F 50 air cleaner install by 2 pm. There were no significant issues to speak of. They took precautions to keep our home clean by wearing booties over their shoes and laying tarps from the front door to the basement. They were thorough cleaning up after themselves and left our home in the same condition it was when they arrived. They will install the Mitsubishi system when framing begins to finish our basement."

FAQs for air ducts & vents cleaning service projects in Princess Anne, MD

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) states that air duct cleaning is not required unless visible issues such as mold buildup, rodent droppings, or excessive dust are present. When such conditions exist, cleaning becomes essential to protect indoor air quality and maintain HVAC efficiency. This approach minimizes potential health risks and extends the system’s life.

Air ducts must be cleaned every three to five years as required by NADCA to preserve system efficiency and indoor air quality. The EPA insists that cleaning is necessary only when significant issues such as mold, pest infestations, or heavy dust accumulation are evident. Annual inspections by a certified professional promptly address any emerging concerns.

The ideal seasons for air duct cleaning are spring and fall. Cleaning during these periods prepares your HVAC system for the demands of both winter heating and summer cooling. These seasons provide moderate weather conditions that enable efficient service completion while minimizing disruption, ensuring your system performs at its peak.

Professional air duct cleaning takes a fixed duration of two to five hours, depending on the home’s size and the complexity of the duct system. Smaller residences with standard ductwork complete the service in two hours, while larger homes with extensive ducts require up to five hours. Additional repairs may extend this duration.

To prepare for professional air duct cleaning, ensure all vents are unobstructed by moving nearby furniture and clearing pathways. Secure any pets in a safe area and confirm that your HVAC system units are easily accessible for technician inspection. Proper preparation contributes to a higher quality service outcome and prevents delays, allowing the cleaning process to proceed efficiently.
