"My job went Great. Joe was the sales manager; he was polite, professional and ethical. We thought that we needed to do a complete removal of our roof to the roof deck but, after Joe scaled up the roof like Spider-Man 🙂 and assessed the roof; he said “that wasn’t necessary-roof felt stable.” We appreciated his honesty because it saved us from spending thousands of dollars unnecessarily so we are able to allocate those funds to another project. Thanks Joe😊 Now; about the crew of installers big Anthony, Anthony Jr. and John they were great! Polite, respectful, professional. My roof looks awesome. They did a beautiful job installing our skylights and vents. If they saw something needed to be done they took care of it even if it wasn’t in the job description; just great work ethic. My house was completely cleaned; all trash and debris was removed . Guys thank you for the 0 percent anxiety during this project. See you in 3 years for the silver coating. Truly grateful, The Lee family."

"After a terrible experience with Egress Systems Inc. not showing up on contracted date I contacted Steelway to see if they could get my egress installed before my basement reno started in a week. Tate came out to see the space early the next morning to accommodate me since I was leaving for vacation that morning. He even gave me his cell phone #. They gave me a fair price and were able to squeeze the job in before construction started. Everything was smooth and easy. They were prompt, provided excellent customer service, and we are very pleased with the job. I highly recommend Steelway for egress window install."

"How did it go?...Absolutely incredible. Best contractor I ever hired from Angies List. Responsive, knowledgeable, extremely fair and does not try to sell you anything you really don't need. Bob and his dad Jim went above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend!!!"

"I want to thank Pat and all his service techs who worked on my gas fired heating system through several days of problems. it seemed like once a repair was was effected and tested it would operate the remainder of the day and then shut down during the night hours. Each time that occurred they responded and got the unit operating only to have the same cycle of events reoccur. After several days of Service Techs working on the unit Pat showed up himself and spent close to 7 hours working on the unit and him witnessing 3 or 4 complete cycling by the heating unit, he felt it was a success and it was, it h been functioning properly ever since. We received a phone call the next morning to check and see if the unit was stilll functioning land I gave hem a resounding YES. "

"It went great! We found Fisher Precious Metals on Angie's List, and after googling them, we found they had very positive reviews across the web. Although it was a 45 minute drive from our home, we felt it might be worth it, and it was. We made an appointment with John via email, arrived at 11:00, and spent just over an hour in his office. He evaluated the sterling silver set we had to sell and gave us what we felt was a very fair price. He'd given us an estimate on the value of the gold coins via email, and although the price of gold had fluctuated since he'd provided the quote, the final price was very, very close to the initial quote. We were happy to learn that they will also buy jewelry, as I have a few pieces I haven't worn in a very long time. We were very pleased with the entire experience and will definitely return to their company when we have gold or silver to sell, and we're happy to recommend them to our friends. One thing to keep in mind is that sterling silver sets are basically worth the price of the silver itself. We knew that going in, so we were not disappointed and, in fact, the price we received was a little higher than we'd expected."

"We hired Standard Fence to replace an existing chain link with a 4ft wood privacy fence. Quoted as a two day job. At the end of day one the old fence is down and about 60% of the new fence is installed, at 6ft height. Wife and I discussed and decided we were okay with not having them redo the completed work and adjusted to 6ft final product. I should have insisted on it being redone as this was the first of multiple cut corners. I did however raise concerns about the old chain link fence posts that were removed as there was still a fair amount of metal protruding from the ground. I was told they would grind them down to the concrete and fill back dirt. Not ideal but I gather this is the new industry standard instead of full removal... fine, if completed as stated. Day 2 work completed after no more than 3 hours, I return later that evening (after spouse paid...) to find that only one of the posts was actually ground down to the concrete as that concrete was slightly above dirt level to begin with. 4 others, included one perfectly in the middle of the primary gate, are now semi-sharp metal at no better than dirt level with the rest being higher. A tuft of grass was laid on top of the metal in the gate opening to hide it from sight. Contractor contacted by email and replied "I only could grind down so far. The dirt was binding up the grinder." No further explanation of why it wasn't possible to dig said dirt out of the way and complete the job as stated. No real attempt was made to clean up afterwards. I collected two sizable piles of scrap metal and post caps in the span of a 10 minute walk around my yard and my neighbors. This was also mentioned to the contractor with the response "I am sorry about the few fittings left around. I genuinely didn't see them." This is simply put a bold faced lie considering some of the post caps were tossed under a shed where they could not have just fallen on their own and being the size of a tennis ball are essentially impossible to miss in a brief walkaround. 6 weeks after installation the hits keep coming as the hardware used for the main gate was insufficient, or poorly installed, and the gate is already sagging with some of the screws used beginning to come lose and others having cracked the wood with how close to the edge they were installed. A second smaller gate is also sagging such that opening and latching both are a hassle. Each will require me to either install completely new hardware or make adjustments to keep them in working order before the season is out. I could continue with more details about nail points in the gate that were brought to the contractors attention not having been ground down and other hardware issues such as not even bothering to install any sort of handles or pulls. If you need a brand new fence, I believe they are capable of doing a nice job. I however didn't get such service and would advise a watchful eye throughout the job and a close inspection prior to remitting final payment. If you need a fence replaced make sure you know what their full intentions for removal are an again inspect on 'completion.'"
