DAM Concrete is a new company, built off of 10+ years in the trade. I started with my families company in Toledo, OH and then I joined Local 886 as an apprentice and in 4 years I became a Foreman. I decided to move down the Columbus 3 years ago working as a supervisor for a company. I've been on all sorts of projects from residential driveways and stamped patios, to commercial warehouses and apartment building to just name a few. I've always had the goal to own my own company one day, and I'm starting to live that dream.

"Chris always returned the calls in timely manner. Concrete projects usually need waiting based on company's book-of-work and weather. Therefore, Chris proactively called me every two weeks to update me the latest, after he told me in Mar that my project probably be on in May. The price is very reasonable. Plus, I like the way of pricing - the qoute is lump-sum and no additional charge for 'trivials' during the project. When the project began, we found the steps of side door need to be removed and re-made. Chris did not charge me additionally for the new steps."

"It went smoothly exactly as Paul described the job. His crew installed a sump pump and ensured in drained to the curb. The crew replaced the drain run to the curb and dug around the existing bushes. The crew also connected the the roof downspout to the run to the curb.The crew installed a perforated pipe in a trench which created a floating basement floor on 3 sides of the basement. (the 4th wall was not necessary since was an interior wall.) They concreted over the pipe with a gap to the wall. they repaired and painted the basement walls."

"This company is absolutely wonderful beginning with the courtesy when I called to schedule an appointment the first time. Next Jack N who arrived at my home on time and as promised. He provided me estimate for the repair and went over every detail of it with me. When the crew arrived to do the job they were very professional and performed the job as promised. I have a large house that was built in 1902 and was NOT able to find anyone willing to tackle my problem. Acculevel came in and fixed every issue. My house has a tight crawl space but Acculevel was able to replace a beam and the sister joist. In addition provided support and leveled out my floor. This was done without needing to cut a hole in my floor. The results were immediate and my floor looks and feels wonderful. I immediately noticed the stability. I can not thank Acculevel enough for their hard work and reasonable pricing for my job. I would highly recommend them for all your foundation and stabilization needs. "I have been through this before where you have a rather small job involving concrete. The job is too much to mix by hand but getting a contractor to bid on it is near impossible because the money for them is in driveways and big jobs. I tried last fall without success and in the mean time found out that 2 of my neighbors needed similar work: one driveway apron replaced and one service sidewalk (like mine) replaced. I thought that with 3 smaller jobs we would be able to get someone to bid on it. I contacted 4 contractors from Angie's List and got 2 of them to respond. Tom Haning told me when he would come to look at the jobs, showed up on time and gave me a written quote for each of the 3 jobs before he left. The other contractor was late showing up, gave me verbal quotes at the time and when I asked for written ones, he never responded. The email address on his company website was also invalid. One of the neighbors decided she wanted something different from the original quote and Tom responded and re-quoted her job. We all decided to have the work done and notified Mr. Haning. Since I was going to be out of town for a couple of weeks, we tentatively scheduled for after Memorial Day. Tom contacted us on Memorial Day and said that he would be out the next day at 7am. He showed up at 6:45 and with his crew, formed, hand dug and prepped my sidewalk area. He also prepped the other 2 jobs and then the following day at 8am, the concrete truck arrived and they poured all 3 jobs, finished the concrete and even pulled the forms by the end of the day. Since one of the jobs involved a driveway apron which requires a better concrete mix, the other neighbor and myself benefited as well on our sidewalks. Tom and his crew are very professional and cleaned up the area and the street. Although I don't anticipate any further concrete work, I would not hesitate contacting T.W. Haning Concrete again in the future.  <br />"

This was also our first poured concrete basement; the other two were cinder blocks and the leaks were worse. We accepted this first quote, because they had already come highly recommended by Angie's List and we were eager to get this repair done. We were able to schedule the repair within a week, the contractor/installer arrived exactly as scheduled, and the work was done within one day. Quite pleased!"
