"Dealing with Planet Granite was great up until the removal of my existing countertops and installation of the new granite countertop. The crew had two installs that day and rushed through my job. Paid over $1000 for removal of old countertops which was accomplished in about and hour with extensive damage to the drywall behind and above the backsplash. The new granite countertops look good. However, I had to spend two days cleaning up the mess, patching and painting drywall, cleaning caulking off the cabinets, staining scratches on the wood floor, cleaning a stain off the newly installed sink, and sawdust everywhere. Hire someone else to remove your existing countertops, these guys (or at least the ones that did my install) don't want to deal with it."

"The technician, Josh, arrived right on time and did an excellent job. He removed the old pump, installed the new one, and verified that everything was working properly before he left. As usual, I was very impressed by the knowledge and skill of Olson's technician, as well as his overall friendliness and helpfulness. My only (minor) criticism is for their markup on the cost of the replacement pump. The exact same make and model that sells on Amazon for $379 (with free Prime shipping) costs $530 from Olson. That's a $150 (40%) markup over retail, and no doubt considerably more over wholesale. I would have thought that the installation labor charge and the recycling charge for the old pump would have contributed enough profit to the job without such a big overcharge for the part. Still, I will sleep better at night knowing that if anything goes wrong I can count on Olson to take care of it."
