"The quality of my outdoor kitchen and patio exceeded my own expectations. Clint and his team did a terrific job. They started right when he said he they would and worked diligently through bad weather to complete the project promptly. The workmanship of his team was terrific. I have stamped concrete with a smoke tint that looks better than I imagined. My outdoor kitchen is the envy of my neighbors. We are really enjoying it. In addition to great work Clint is a stand up business man and a pleasure to do business with. I would recommend him to any of my family and friends."

"I have a lot of feedback here. I chose Green Legacy after having received a few estimates for some extensive landscaping at my home. The initial quotes were for rocking some areas, a row of shrubs and rock garden on one side of the house, pavers, removing Bermuda from shady areas and replacing with Zoysia. This was not the lowest estimate, but it included some important details that were overlooked in the other estimates. Specifically, Dominik (Green Legacy) recognized and noted that there were draining problems. With Zoysia being so expensive currently, putting git down where there are draining issues would likely result in poor performance of the turf, so drains were recommended to solve some issues. We had significant issues with draining that appear to be a thing of our past now. Regarding the project, it took a couple weeks due to weather, etc. During this time, it is impressive how well Dominik communicated the project status, what their next steps were, etc. Vlad was onsite during the entire project. I was constantly impressed such mastery with a shovel as he exhibited – somehow avoiding sprinkler lines, etc., while making quick work of long trenches to house the drains. I feel like Dominik and Vlad showed great respect for the project, our property, and us. When there rocks delivered, etc., it was always with an eye toward whether we would be able to get in and out of the garage with our vehicles, etc. Tools were put away (into the back yard) daily so as to not be an eyesore to the neighbors. I received a text message when they were coming out to start the day, which let me know when our gates would need to be opened for them to access the back yard. This is important as we have a dog that WILL run off if given the chance, so it was nice to know when to start paying attention. Since I mentioned that, here is something that means a lot to me, but may go unnoticed by others. When the days were beginning, I would go out and open the gates and tie them open so they could go in and out without having to open and close the gates – I’ve seen too many workers slamming a gate so hard it bends the hardware. At the end of the work day, they untied the gates and closed them for us. Sounds like a simple thing, but that detail adds to their already impressive work ethic. This was each day they worked, so not a coincidence. Would I hire again? I already have. We took care of all the drainage and gardens, and now will move on to the sod."

"First of all, they don't answer their phone when they have a full schedule! This is a pain when you just need to talk about existing services! The owner, Roger, came out for an estimate. (Not free, by the way!) I walked around with him explaining where we had leaks (some that we fixed ourselves), what we had worked on and what we still needed done. I explained to him that we had been working on our own, trying to revamp the system ourselves, but the digging became a little too much for us. (At this point, it also would have been nice of him to explain to us how easy a few of the tasks would be for us to complete instead of him over-charging for it.) After another 30 minutes of him walking around by himself to assess the system, he told me that we needed to redo the old system in the entire front yard and that a few of the other zones needed holes repaired and new heads, etc. The quote for the entire system was way too high (thousands of dollars), so we decided not to change the front yard (because it was working fine) and to repair the broken heads, fix the leaks, and make sure that everything else was in working order. We had also dug up a 2'x12' section by the main control to repair leaks, which I asked him to cover back up (again, tired of the shoveling dirt). We agreed upon a price (which I thought still too high). His crew came back a week or so later and worked on the job. After they were finished, and left without saying anything to me, they had not filled in the 2'x12' hole and there were sprinkler heads that were still up too high out of the ground or crooked. I called Roger back (left a message) and told him how disappointed I was about his quality of service. He had his guys come back to fix the sprinkler heads (refused to fill the 2'x12' hole) and charged me over $70 more for the fixes, that we had already agreed upon him doing, which took all of 10 minutes. <br>Overall, we paid too much for a service that SHOULD NOT cost that much, and it did not get done right the first time."

"<blockquote> <p>We had a minor leak in my bedroom closet. He went into the attic and could not see where the leak was coming from. He looked for the leak from the roof as well and he let me know that my roof should have about 7 years left in it. He was on time and polite but only at my home for about 15 minutes.  </p> </blockquote>"

"Their workers were all undocumented and they were forced to fire them. The owner thought he and his son could manage the work themselves, which they couldn't. Without telling us they just stopped coming and doing the work while we were out of town.  They did not call, email, or stop by - just didn't show up and do the work.  I would not recommend Live Oak to anyone."

"Each of the last 3 yrs has gone well. I haven't had any problems with any of the work. I did have a few plants die, which he promptly replaced. His crew have always been hard workers and respectful. I will continue to have Artscapes do work for me.  He has recently started doing stone work that is absolutely gorgeous.  It's simulated stone, but you honestly can't tell it and it is SO much cheaper and quicker than real granite.  I'm hoping to have him do a small waterfall or fountain or maybe even a wall across our back fence in 2013, if my taxes didn't go TOO high!  He had a really nice booth at the home show, so if you're interested in something like that, check it out.He had a large BBQ grill setup all made out of this new "stone".  It looked cool, but we rarely grill.  We always get a lot of compliments on how our yard looks (and our front walkway and porch!).  Our maintenance isn't always up to snuff, but that's our own fault.  The grass isn't always green, but that's what a drought will do.  I honestly plan to NEVER have anyone else make decisions on the management of our yard. <br />"

"they showed up on time. the tile work overall looks good. the fine details like switch and outlet covers were sloppy and didn't fit. Overall cost was $399, plus i purchased all tile, grout and mastic. I was supposed to receive $80 credit back for tile purchase from the $399 they charged me for the job thru Angies List. After asking repeatedly and receiving assurance that I would get it, it obviously never showed up. Their address on Meridian St is a front. Nobody is ever there. I quit wasting my time asking."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Pulaski, TN

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
