"While I was interviewing roofing contractors to reroof my hail damaged roofs, my son mentioned that I should also consider meeting with Advanced Roofing and Construction, based on his recent experience with them, and I am glad that I did, for the reasons that follow. I highly recommend Advanced Roofing & Construction for the excellent job they did on the replacement of my hail damaged home and standalone garage roofs. In particular, I commend them for their knowledge and expertise related to the requirements and process to achieve a Fortified High Wind & Hail Impact Resistant roof meeting Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety (IBHS) standards. Having this certification allowed me to obtain a significant reduction on my Home Owners Insurance policy. Working with Advanced Roofing was much easier than I expected, considering the specialized nature of the High Wind & Hail Resistant asphalt roofs they installed. The Owner was very involved in the process for the more complicated aspects, and he gave me a good comfort level that he and his team knew what they were doing and how they would meet IBHS Fortified Roof requirements. Another aspect of this project that I very much liked, was not having to turn-off my A/C during the reroofing process, as other roofing contractors required, using Advanced Roofing’s innovative approach. Considering the unusually hot summer we experienced, this was a huge blessing. Onsite supervision of the work crews and work processes were essential to me. I did not have to involve myself directly with the roofers, as I had seen with my neighbors and their roofing contractors. The onsite supervision was excellent and very responsive to my concerns. They kept my yard (worksite), safe and clean. My questions and comments were followed-up and followed-through in a timely manner. The entire work process was well organized and the work teams were very professional and courteous throughout the reroofing process. They cleaned up the work debris concurrent with the deroofing and reroofing processes and ran magnets throughout the work area to retrieve nails and screws and other metal debris ongoing throughout the project. "Over all it was OK.  I was not happy with how much time I had to spend picking up trash after they left - from strips of sharp metal, to dozens of screws every day for a week (literally), to their snack wrappers and drink cans every evening.  The house had been painted a few months prior to the roof job and they managed to gouge several pieces of newly painted wood from the sides of the house.  I was told it would not mildew and 2 years later it has and needs a cleaning.  Had they been honest about that, I would have gone with a darker color.

"First of all, we wanted something totally out of the ordinary.  After contacting several solar companies and receiving curious looks, Mark came by and not only did he state that he could build it, but was excited to engineer and build it for us.  We did not want solar panels on our roof and we desperately needed a shade structure.  My husband had found a picture of such a structure, using only two posts (I did not want four poles).  Mark had a company build the posts, then his men removed my pavers, dug huge holes, craned (Yes they had a crane put them in the holes), and filled them in with concrete.  Trust me these are never going anywhere.  After the concrete set up, John and his team returned, they replaced everything and repainted the entire structure, they didn't just touch it up.  I need to add that they were so thoughtful and cleaned up everyday prior to leaving, very unusual for a construction team.  It looks absolutely beautiful.  I'm at a loss for words, it was everything I thought it could be and then some.

"I cannot express how easy and wonderful our experience was with Cobalt Roofing and David. Our roof had been damaged during a storm in October 2014. He was present for the insurance inspection and made sure that everything was documented. He also handled the insurance end regarding the cost and making sure we were getting what we needed.
I have never actually use my homeowners insurance, so I was unsure of what to expect. David made the process so simple. He was overly fair priced and gave us multiple upgrades and provided additional services at no cost. He did not require any upfront payment. He was exceptionally professional. I cannot say enough good things about our experience.
The process (with homeowners insurance) takes time, but David was on the job immediately after the insurance approved everything. The men who did the work were efficient, considerate, and hardworking. The roof looks amazing and we are very pleased with the results.
As for the payment process, we did not pay him until after our insurance reimbursement was given to us. He did not pressure or push about anything financial and understood the time frame of using homeowners insurance claims. I was very grateful for how respectful and understanding he was.
Honestly, it was so simple and easy on my end. I kept thinking it was too good to be true, but it was good. I would highly recommend using Cobalt.
