"The front sidewalk that G&B Construction replaced for us is absolutely amazing and has held up well in both the hot and cold weather! George and his crew were very skillful at creating a slight curve in the sidewalk (before the turn was at a 90 degree angle) and a flare at the driveway that really makes the front sidewalk look so much more inviting and welcoming. They also banked the sidewalk for better drainage and raised it up so that there was a much smaller step up onto the front porch. The crew that came out to the house was very nice and professional! They worked really hard to keep the driveway clean while bringing loads of wet concrete to the sidewalk location. Rachel, the office manager, was also really helpful in getting this project organized. I am very happy that we hired G&B Construction and have shared our experience with our neighbors. If I need any more concrete work done, I will definitely call them again!"

"My brother’s basement flooded from a malfunctioning valve in his washing machine. There was a great deal of water that sat for some time before the issue was discovered. Fortunately, I knew just who to call when he needed a hand. I called MSI and spoke to the owner Joe, who arrived with his crew at my brother’s home within an hour. They were very considerate of the current safety recommendation and wore masks and gloves during our entire encounter and went to work immediately. Among easing our anxiety, they extracted all of the water, cleaned, and dried the basement, leaving some drying equipment behind to ensure that nothing was left soiled. When Joe came back to pick up his equipment, he also checked over everything thoroughly and performed mold testing. It’s tough to find thorough, affordable, and reliable companies anymore, but Joe and his team exceeded all of our expectations time and time again. Thanks so much guys!"

"This guy. Hire this guy. <br /> Had a sewer lateral replaced and in the process lost a slab of concrete at the curb and one in a walkway from the driveway to the front steps. The sidewalk to the front steps was in rough shape to begin with, so I asked Phil to fix the slab at the curb and the entire walkway from driveway to front steps. <br /> He came out a couple of times to look at the job -- gave me a price -- price was competitive to what I had been quoted earlier. The thing about Phil was that he didn't just want to do the job --he wanted to do it RIGHT. <br /> Came out and prepped the area.  <br /> Weather interfered and it was a while before he could do the the pour. Communication was great. Phil calls me last week and tells me he can *probably* get the pour in and it will be fine, but if there's rain he might have to tear the whole thing out and do it over. My call. Doesn't want to inconvenience me further with torn up sidewalks. <br /> Any other contractor would have poured it and told me the rain was "no problem". <br /> Sidewalk it done, it looks wonderful, and while I don't have the money right now I have more concrete work I need done in the future. All of those jobs automatically belong to Phil. There was a corner of my front steps that I had done a repair on years ago. It came loose while he was doing the demo. He fixed it, no charge, looks 100x better than anything I would have done. <br /> Stop reading, call this guy, don't waste your time with anyone else."

"Best company ever!! Shannon got us a next day appt. Kurt our salesrep was awsome and didnt make us sit thru some long winded presentation. Compared to other companies we got a great fair price and our basement that was flooded is now dry as a bone! The workers really work hard and finished our entire basement in less than 2 days. "Joe was an excellent choice to have as a contractor for our basement renovation. He always left the work space very neat and organized when stopping for the day, worked continuously only stopping briefly to eat lunch. He was easy to talk to about changes or specifics of the job, did excellent work and was willing to undertake tasks that he had never done before since we were requesting some “odd” things. He explained the pros and cons of our choices but the final decision was up to us. He always returned phone calls or texts promptly and was at our house at the times he said he would be. When he came to view the job initially he gave us a verbal ballpark estimate and then, after we agreed to have him do the work, emailed an itemized list of the work to be done. The ballpark estimate was on point with the written agreement and the only change in pricing at the end of the job was what was added/changed at our request. We now have 450 square feet of additional living space in our house and are thrilled with the finished product which was completed in a shorter amount of time than we expected. Joe is skilled in many areas of home repairs so there is no need to have multiple subcontractors other than doing the drywalling and he has used this specific group of men for years. To summarize, Joe was a pleasure to have in our home and we had no regrets about having him as our contractor."
