"Phil Wich, arborist, was recommended by my landscape designer. He came to my place to give me advice on dealing with phytophthora, a root disease some of my plants (but not my trees) have. He is incredibly knowledgeable about plant and soil diseases. He also gave me an estimate to prune the trees. He explained the many ways in which pruning would benefit the health of my trees. I asked him a lot of questions. He is so very knowledgeable about trees as well. <br /> I told him I wanted him to do the work so he emailed me the contract. I signed it and we arranged to have the work done today. The workers did a wonderful job. I am especially impressed that they were very careful not to hurt my flowers and shrubs. The serviceberries are surrounded by delicate tulips and crocus which have just begun to emerge, and they managed to prune the trees without crushing any of them! Then they cleaned up so thoroughly, they left my yard neater than they found it! It is that good! Drake Snodgrass, the owner, was always aware of the total project. He has a sharp eye for details, and he made important recommendations. Drainage from the house was placed under the patio site (before the tile was installed). He noted the deep egress window well adjacent to the tile patio, and because of safety concerns, he arranged for his metal-works artisan to build a safety-grate to cover it. The landscaping and irrigation placed at the site of the old trampoline nicely accented the other landscaping. All the workers, including Fernando, Ivan, and Trevor worked hard and efficiently! Drake’s 7 Dees Landscaping remains the best of the best!"
