"Drake and his team did a FANTASTIC job building a lovely silver travertine tile patio with travertine tile stairs leading to the back door. This work could be featured in a Homes & Garden magazine. It is that good! Drake Snodgrass, the owner, was always aware of the total project. He has a sharp eye for details, and he made important recommendations. Drainage from the house was placed under the patio site (before the tile was installed). He noted the deep egress window well adjacent to the tile patio, and because of safety concerns, he arranged for his metal-works artisan to build a safety-grate to cover it. The landscaping and irrigation placed at the site of the old trampoline nicely accented the other landscaping. All the workers, including Fernando, Ivan, and Trevor worked hard and efficiently! Drake’s 7 Dees Landscaping remains the best of the best!"

"It went...OK. For the money, we expected a lot more. In the end, we were left with paver dust all over our landscaping and garage door, some lights there were haphazardly installed and fell over in a strong wind, and about 15'x15' of our backyard grass destroyed. For the price we paid, this wasn't acceptable. They also told us when we were all done that we'd need to find an electrician to connect the transformer for the lights, and then they left. Overall, at the price point, we felt they left the job just good enough to walk away. Throughout the project we had to correct a number of things, from the step height onto the patio, to the quality of the cuts on the pavers they installed. It was nearly impossible to communicate with the crew they sent (no english speakers), and they seemed to sub-contract the work to a team with another company's name on their trucks. I think we ended up with well installed pavers, but the collateral damage and the process to get there weren't great. Especially at the price point. I would look elsewhere and get more competitive quotes on our next project (and we're going to do the front of the house next). I also would get them to commit to really *finishing* the job well. Don't leave paver/concrete dust all over the place. Don't leave my grass destroyed. Don't half-install the landscape lighting and then just bail. I paid you a lot of money to finish the job. Please finish it."
