"I hired System Pavers to replace my back lawn with a paver patio, including a gas fire pit and walkway. I couldnâ t be happier with the result. They were very professional, transparent, and easy to work with. Communication was very good throughout the process - any time a design decision or issue came up during the installation, they would reach out to me for input or confirmation, which I greatly appreciated. At one point during the installation, I sent a few questions to the project manager (Austin) via email at around 8pm on a Friday, not expecting to hear back until Monday. Austin called me within two minutes of sending the email! Thanks again to him and the hard working crew for their attention to detail and timely completion of the job. Highly recommended"

"Pavers Arts, LLC provided outstanding customer service and craftsmanship. The project centered on replacing a wooden deck with paver deck as seen in the photos. Israel made me feel like my project was super important and it was obvious he takes pride in his work. He had suggestions along the way and I could tell he had a keen eye for aesthetics. To complete the project I plan to hire them to re-sod my front lawn and install a storm drain system. I strongly recommend Pavers Arts for your next project."

Once he finally made the appointment he did the backflow test and the evaluation.  He said he would email a quote for some repairs needed never heard back made a follow up call and never heard back. I had to find someone else to do the required work.

"The contractor offered a reasonable bid, and gave me several options.  They used several subcontractors, all were professional.  Once I decided to go ahead and use this contractor they started on the roof first. .  Once they were finished on the roof they started on the siding.  The contractor was held up on another job so the siding was delayed by a week or so.  But once they started, they finished very quickly.  Part of the siding needed to have some additional sheeting installed which was not included in the initial bid, but the price for this was reasonable.  And finally they painted.  From start to finish it took maybe 3 to for 4 weeks.  They kept me informed of the progress and it was not difficult at all to get ahold of the contractor, he was always returning my calls, emails, or texts.  I would use them again.

"My neighbor used Rainland to replace his driveway and public sidewalk and I approached them in hopes of getting a good price on my driveway as they were working in the neighborhood. I'd received other bids and Rainland's was the lowest. I adjusted the job to include stamping and coloring, with a border of a different design. I found Tony (the supervisor) very easy to work with, but the result wasn't perfect. The driveway abuts the foundation of my house and cement was splattered on the shingles. Stakes were left in the ground after the job was done and the driveway doesn't appear to be completely straight when observing it from the street. Also, the surface of the driveway is not flat, there are shallow depressions that form puddles when it rains. However, I no longer have to contend with the lake that used to form in a large crack by the side step! The City didn't approve the driveway design at the street and Rainland had to redo the edges and charged me for it, as well as an additional amount to have the driveway sealed. The step was done a year later and more concrete was splashed on adjacent shingles. All in all, I am glad the job is done but quality is lacking and it ended up costing me much more than the original bid. I will never again take the lowest bid!"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Rainier, OR

Installing interlocking pavers takes between four and 10 days, depending on the project's size and complexity. The process involves careful excavation, precise leveling, and building a stable base before placing the pavers. Larger projects or challenging site conditions may require more time to ensure a durable and attractive result that stands the test of time.

It's not recommended to place pavers directly on dirt. For the best results, you'll need to lay a foundation of gravel or sand to create a leveled and compacted base. This ensures proper drainage below the pavers, preventing erosion and shifting over time. An uneven or unstable base can cause the pavers to move or settle improperly, affecting the appearance and longevity of your installation.

Installing interlocking pavers yourself involves rigorous preparation and careful execution. This DIY approach requires excavation, precise leveling, and building a proper base using gravel or sand to ensure stability. The project demands at least two to three full days of intensive manual work and the use of specialized tools. Alternatively, hire a paver installer for professional results.

Concrete stone and clay brick pavers are the top choices for homeowners. They offer robust performance and an attractive finish that elevates outdoor living areas. These materials are engineered for superior durability and design flexibility, ensuring long-term strength and style. Selecting the right paver type maximizes the overall appeal and functionality of your space while meeting all design and performance standards.
