Shan-Gri-La Sod Farm is family-owned and operated that started in 1939 as a poultry farm in Willow Grove, PA by my Grandfather Dewey H. Bunch, Sr. In 1967 my father, Dewey H. Bunch, Jr., purchased our farm in beautiful Bucks County, PA and began growing sod. My brother, sisters, and I all worked side by side in the fields with my mother and father learning about the importance of family and hard work, as well as the commitment required to establish and maintain a successful small family business. In 1990 I began the landscape construction division to satisfy customers wanting to deal with one qualified contractor for all of their outdoor needs. We are E.P. Henry authorized paver installers and have had photos of our projects in their catalog each year since 2005. We are currently on E.P Henry's Website where one of our projects is featured as a virtual tour! In 2002, my wife Beth and I purchased the business. Together with our dedicated staff, we still maintain the strong family traditions established over 70 years ago while continuing to adapt to the needs and desires of our modern customers. For over 30 years, we have landscaped thousands of fine homes like yours and our referral list is available upon request. Whether it is a new swimming pool and waterfall,patio with fire pit, outdoor grill station and bar, deck, walkway or retaining wall our skilled masonry and construction crews are up to the task. At our clients disposal is our eight acre nursery fully stocked with an array of plant selections to choose from. Stocked with perennials, shrubs and trees from 2" caliper to 8" caliper all available for viewing and selection by our exclusive clientele. "Came out in September to measure my door and it is now March 2 and still no estimate. Had call multiple times I had windows done but had wait year for them to be installed. I understand about being busy. I don't feel like value customer which I had other work planned. Then somehow something need to change if you can't keep up with work load. Very disappointed and would of like to continue with them but I have changed my plans. I will get another company that will care."
