"This is a most honest, reliable company that truly cares about their customers. I had a quote from one of the major "Home Service" companies, for $6,787 for an electric panel replacement. Due to Jacob's exceptional knowledge of electricity, he was simply able to rewire two circuit breakers and got the problem resolved for only $220. I am still thankful and amazed!! I wonder why the "Home Service" experts did not tell me about this fix. When needing a quality electrician, there is only one company that I will rely on, for expert, honest and dependable electric work. GRACE ELECTRIC. They truly care about their customers."

"They got here the same day, and came back the next morning to finish. Three people worked on our problem! They could never find the fault, but when they had done everything they could to find it they stopped instead of running up the hours. They ran two new circuits. (The HomeAdvisor description of this job was wrong)"

"I needed to add two 240 volt circuits to install new patio heaters on my back deck. I reached out for an electrician and Miles with Wallace Electric promptly returned my call and was able to come by the same day to give me an estimate. He quickly assessed how to add and route the circuits to meet my needs, communicating each step of the work. Really easy to talk to and work with! Miles was able to start a couple of days later and did a great job getting my new patio heaters up and running. He actually completed his work at a cost less than his estimate! Like I said, Miles was really easy to work with and talk to and he explained everything he did. I would not hesitate to work with Miles/Wallace Electric in the future and would certainly recommend him for your electrical needs."

"Replaced burned out transformers for kitchen lighting and replaced with LED transformers and lights. Great job. Also diagnosed another issue that we were having, and we're having him take care of that as well."

"Optimum has painted multiple houses for us; inside & out. They are fair priced and finished on time, even while accommodating some last minute changes. John and his crew are knowledgeable and easy to work with; and no one knows color like Billy. They are our go to Company for paint and home repair."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Redmond, OR

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
