"The work he performed was EXCELLENT! My Wife and I, are EXTREMELY happy with the work. He was very professional, very kind, very attentive to our needs and concerns, but most importantly, he was a man of his word. He was never late, never tried to charge extra for hidden costs. His work ethic and that of his workers, was impeccable. I highly recommend him for anyone who wants Excellent Work done and not be over charged."

"I hired Alset Electrics to install new lighting in my kitchen and replace a bathroom fan, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The quality of the work was fantastic—everything was done professionally and with great attention to detail. I especially appreciated how accommodating they were with my schedule. I had a specific timeframe, and they made it happen without any issues. Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish. Highly recommend—five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"High praise to B.K. Electric Services! Great on-time service with a “Can Do” attitude. They did an excellent job installing a very long wire run for an EV charger. Enrique was the representative that came out for the free quotation. He had recommendations that the competition did not offer. The installers (George & Erick), were polite, and hard workers. I’m a little critical on some details of the work being performed. George & Erick addressed my concerns very much to my satisfaction. The office staff were friendly and efficient. I don’t give many reviews, but had to do it for this company. I will be using their services in the future. Thank You, B.K. Electric Services"

"I had 8 licensed Electricians come & provide a written quote for installing a new home EV charger. 6 of them wanted to make the job bigger then what it was. To charge double or more vs what I paid to ZAP Electric. Of the 8, only 1 other Licensed Electrician knew the proper way to bring in the wiring from my sub panel vs main breaker. But that Electirican did not understand the DWP rebate program. He didn't even think a permit was required when it clearly is required if you want to get your $1,000 rebate from DWP. This is the only Electrician that knows the entire process like the back of their hand to get you your $1,000 or more rebate. Greg & his partner Vic are the most honest licensed professionals I've ever hired to work on my house. Great attitude, very polite, considerate, professional, knowledgeable, & personable. You will get world class service like I did. Work done by an experienced Licensed Electrician who knows what they are doing & charges extremely fair prices. "

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Redondo Beach, CA

There are several telltale signs that your home is due for an electrical upgrade. You may need to rewire your house if your lights are constantly flickering or your circuit breaker keeps tripping. If you feel mild electric shocks when you touch light switches, hear buzzing sounds, or notice burning smells, you may need to rewire your house, too. Discolored or burnt-looking switches and faceplates are another crucial warning sign.

Properly installed copper wiring in a residential property can last as long as 50 to 100 years in some cases, but many homes over 30 years old are due for an upgrade. That’s the timeline that many experts recommend, even if it is only a partial update to accommodate technological advancements, increased power demands, and changing safety requirements.

At $3 to $5 per square foot, the cost to wire a 2,000-square-foot house ranges from $6,000 to $10,000, on average. This can depend on many factors, like the age and complexity of the house and how easy it is for contractors to access the areas they need to get the job done. Opening and repairing walls can further add to your total cost.
