"We hired Maxima Concrete after getting 3 estimates, they were competitively priced, and we saw the patio and walkway project they did for my sister last year and that turned out great. Tom the estimator had great input on what we had in mind. Jacquie in the office was friendly and very helpful answering questions as needed. Tear out and form setup was on July 16th a Friday. There was an issue with the forms for the new siting area off the porch. I called on Saturday morning at 8 AM leaving a voice message with Jacquie and not really expecting a response till Monday morning. Within 3 hours Flavio, the owner, came out and he saw what I was talking about and promised a crew would be out early Monday to correct it. At 7:45 Monday morning the crew came out and corrected the issue to our complete satisfaction. The following day the concrete was poured as scheduled. The whole project turned out great and looks FANTASTIC, exceeding our expectations!! We have had numerous compliments by neighbors. Both crews; the tear out & form placement crew and the concrete pouring crew, showed up as scheduled, were professional, performed outstanding workmanship and left the work area clean upon work completion."

"Chris Ruh came to my home to look at the concrete work I thought I might need in the curb area in front of my house. Firstly, Chris is very patient and very personable. He proceeded to thoroughly examine and measure the area. He took his time to discuss how work could be done. The work would be quite an expense. "Dan and his crew did an outstanding job. The driveway runs next to the house for part of its length, which made slopes and drainage a critical issue. Dan worked with me to verify that all the drainage requirements were met before each pour. The driveway curves between two 100 year old trees and Dan took great care not to damage the trees. We have had numerous comments from friends and neighbors on what an elegant curve the new driveway has. The finish on the concrete was excellent and the crew left the jobsite neat, backfilled and graded. Dan and his crew started the job on a Monday and stayed on our driveway until it was completed on Thursday night. Dan stayed true to his quote with no hidden charges. "When I decided to replace my driveway this year, the first step I took was to look into what is a good driveway. The Ohio Concrete Assoc. (OCA) publishes a pamphlet: “Guidelines for Durable Concrete” which sets the best practices for a quality driveway in Ohio. Mark Rodgers Construction (MRC) had replaced a driveway 15 years ago and some recent work for a new porch for a neighbor of mine. Both looked good, even the driveway from 15 years ago so I contacted Mark Rodgers. Mark Rodgers explained the best way to do things from his experience and best practices which also corresponded with the OCA recommendations. When his crew showed up, they were polite, hard working, and professional and the work was done the way he had explained to me. He also gave me recommendations on the curing process and sealing to keep the driveway looking good. In the end I got a very good looking driveway which meets my needs and is done according to best practices. I highly recommend MRC."

"Tim and his father did a great job replacing a couple squares of sidewalk at our home that were done improperly by a different contractor. They got me an estimate and fit me in their schedule quickly, all while doing the work the right way at a fair cost. I would definitely ask them to do additional work in the future and recommend them if you need concrete or masonry work as well. They are also licensed in Columbus and insured. Before hiring any vendor to do work at your home, I highly recommend you verify both of those things. I came across a number of other concrete vendors who did not have either or both of those documents and some were less than forthcoming about it."
