"We recently expanded a deck, added a patio cover, and are putting a hot tub underneath this second floor deck. There was a concrete patio below the existing deck and we wanted to match that, w/ reinforcement for a hot tub. We got a couple bids for the job. Danny was the estimator that came out for Forest and he seemed knowledgeable and was punctual and professional. It was not the cheapest bid, but the company is much more well established than a couple others we consulted so I put more trust in their work. Rigo is the guy we needed to work with on scheduling etc. for concrete work. This was a little rocky at first, but that had a lot to do with us needing to postpone the start till our deck was done, but then also work around a vacation we'd be taking, and make sure the concrete had enough time to cure before our hot tub is dropped. Despite a slight language barrier, we worked it out and even managed to get it done ahead of when we originally scheduled it. Punctuality is impressive with these guys. For 3 days they were waiting outside our house to start at 7:30am precisely. They had to remove a portion of fence and work around some foliage for access. They ended up encountering an unexpected drainage tube of some kind while digging and made sure to create an access point for us if it's ever needed in the future. The concrete looks great and matches our old patio so well, it's hard to tell they weren't poured together. Danny and I (and later Rigo) discussed treating the old concrete to help the matching. At the end of the work they did a great job of cleaning up the area and returning everything to normal. Rigo also helped us by showing us how to remove the fence portion for when our hot tub is delivered and left the top cap off because he said we'd really struggle to get it off if they put it back. I'm happy with the work, communication, and cleanup and trust if there are any problems I will be able to get them resolved. If we have further landscape needs in the future I will def be calling Forest for a bid."

"I used the $500 painter for two days deal. It was about a year ago-I may have the date a little wrong.   I think I got my money's worth.  I asked the painter to repaint some trim areas and repair some small cracks/holes.  He covered a lot of area for a reasonable price. We had one or two small mis-communications over what was to be painted but I am happy with the result. The painter did not use tape or edging tools, as far as I noticed.  This allowed him to cover a lot of area in the time allotted.  A perfectionist might want a bit more precision, but you would need to be willing to pay for the extra time involved.  I was happy and got what I wanted. <br /> I had to use one hour of paid time for travel as i live in Wilsonville. <br />"

"Working with David and his crew could not have been easier from start to finish. They were pleasant, efficient, timely, and easy to communicate with throughout the process. This was a large project that we decided to take on after seeing some photos of David's work. We came to David with only very rough ideas of what we wanted to achieve with our side/backyard makeover, and he was able to take our suggestions, offer feedback, and design a lovely new patio and stairway for us. Whenever the unexpected happened (like we needed our downspout and French drain re-routed to a new dry well to accommodate our new pathway) David and his crew were able to handle it effectively without having to call in another contractor and with minimal change to the overall scope of the project. David was on-site every day to oversee the progression of things and answer any questions we had as the sketches and suggestions came to fruition. If there was ever anything that we wanted tweaked to meet our exacting specifications, David and the crew were happy to oblige, and the process felt truly collaborative throughout. We expanded the size of our project so that it maxed out our budget on hardscaping, although we still needed to fill our newly designed planting beds. David took the time at our final walk-through to go over each area and offer some landscaping suggestions so that we could finish things up in DIY fashion to cut some costs.
