"Contacted Tom on a Friday, he came out to scope out my work situation the following Monday. By the next day I had an estimate for the work and a proposed start date (a few weeks in the future). He promised to be here by 8am (or possibly earlier) on the start date. True to his word, Tom showed up at 7:50 am on the agreed start date. His co-worker, Justin, came shortly after. Tom got Justin set up with equipment and went over the project with him, and then Justin set to work. Justin did all the prep work for the painting and did the sheet rock repairs in the morning, and did the first coat of paint in the afternoon. It was clear that Justin takes great pride in his painting skills. I mentioned that there was ceiling paint leftover from a previous project, if he needed it for touch ups, and he seemed a bit offended. He advised he wouldn't need to do touch ups. I felt badly I had even brought it up (my bad). And he, of course, didn't. The next day, Justin returned to finish the second coat of paint, and Tom joined him to paint the accent wall. What was originally estimated to take 3 days, ended up taking just two. The guys were very good about cleaning up after working and careful about handling my furniture. They were also friendly with my dog and cats (even after one apparently tracked through a pan of wet paint across the living room carpet). And they were very nice to chat with as well. It made for a stress-free experience. I really enjoyed working with Painting with Color."

I got several estimates and Bodine Painting was similar in cost to the other quality companies I contacted.  Scott tries very hard to be helpful and solve whatever problems you are having, whether it is with painting or other things.  If you have an old home, he has good ideas about how to fix whatever is wrong and usually can do it for you.  He is detailed in his bids.  His crew is easy to have in the house. They are really nice and respectful, keep things as clean as possible, and try to do what you want.  They helped me with window and door hinges, shaving down doors that didn't fit, and cleaning up paint in areas that previous painters had left.  When they cracked a window by accident, they immediately told me and paid to have it fixed.  Several of my Lake Harriet neighbors recommended Bodine Painting to me and I can now recommend them as well. <br />"

"Once again, Colorstyle has provided my family with great quality work at an exceptional price. I first used them about 10 years ago to paint the exterior of my home. It turned out so well that they ended up doing several other houses on my block and the next block up because all my neighbors wanted to know who painted our home. Most recently, I used them to paint some interior rooms, tile, and complete a basement finishing project in a house I was selling, and a complete interior paint job on our new house. They provided excellent advice on economical but effective improvements for selling the house. They just finished removing all the wallpaper and painting the entire interior of our new house to include trim and ceilings and it looks great. They were accommodating of changes we made during the project and quite a bit of missing or damaged trim. They also repaired a damaged ceiling. They were the lowest bid of three we received, and the work was very good. I always recommend them to our friends."

"We hired JJ Hanson Painting to remove wallpaper from a 2 story wall, as well as patch and paint an entryway, hallway, bathroom and family room. Jeff helped with paint selections, was extremely easy to work with and helpful. Randy and Astara did most of the painting and they were fun, professional and efficient. "The Nonhof team was great to work with. Grant was professional and transparent throughout this process and showed a lot of integrity and delivered on everything he said he would. There was a delay because of his dry wall guy who was doing the ceilings and Grant brought in another guy for a quote, but we ultimately decided to wait for the original man because that is who Grant usually uses and he said he does great work and was also cheaper. Grant and his team went above and beyond and did extra patching to make the walls look really nice. He told us what the extra patching would cost, which we agreed to, but he decided not to charge us as a "thank you" for us being patient with the delay which we appreciated. They even put all the switch plate and outlet covers back on for us which we weren't expecting but was also appreciated. The ceilings and paint look great, and I would definitely hire him again."

"It went great.  Working around the rain and employees working near the building, Travis was able to adjust his schedule to accommodate and finish the job it minimum time.  Travis uses his choice of paint and the appearance is great.  The trim required more work to prep but he took the time to make sure the paint would adhere.  Travis is prompt and keeps us informed as to when he'll return to continue the job.  A great communicator and good follow-up.  This year Travis has painted two room ceilings, the exterior of our house and the farm building, all satisfactorily."
