"Contacted Tom on a Friday, he came out to scope out my work situation the following Monday. By the next day I had an estimate for the work and a proposed start date (a few weeks in the future). He promised to be here by 8am (or possibly earlier) on the start date. True to his word, Tom showed up at 7:50 am on the agreed start date. His co-worker, Justin, came shortly after. Tom got Justin set up with equipment and went over the project with him, and then Justin set to work. Justin did all the prep work for the painting and did the sheet rock repairs in the morning, and did the first coat of paint in the afternoon. It was clear that Justin takes great pride in his painting skills. I mentioned that there was ceiling paint leftover from a previous project, if he needed it for touch ups, and he seemed a bit offended. He advised he wouldn't need to do touch ups. I felt badly I had even brought it up (my bad). And he, of course, didn't. The next day, Justin returned to finish the second coat of paint, and Tom joined him to paint the accent wall. What was originally estimated to take 3 days, ended up taking just two. The guys were very good about cleaning up after working and careful about handling my furniture. They were also friendly with my dog and cats (even after one apparently tracked through a pan of wet paint across the living room carpet). And they were very nice to chat with as well. It made for a stress-free experience. I really enjoyed working with Painting with Color."

"Scott and team did a fabulous job of painting our home. Prior to painting, his team patched cracks and holes in the walls. Scott personally came out three times prior to his crew's arrival - first to estimate the job and then twice to put paint samples on the walls. In all, we used six different colors which was no problem. Scott also showed up on the day of painting to ensure the crew knew exactly what to do. The painters were very professional and cordial. We loved the colors and workmanship. The house was left as clean as when they started and they took great care in ensuring all furniture was covered appropriately. We have not found any mistakes in the paint job or spills on the floor, etc. Scott's quote was only slightly lower than the final bill due to the trim touch-up work taking a little longer than anticipated. If I had one complaint, Scott was a little slow at times in responding to emails but in the end, would always respond. For a great painter at a reasonable cost, please give Scott and his team a call. He is great to work with."

"The Nonhof team was great to work with. Grant was professional and transparent throughout this process and showed a lot of integrity and delivered on everything he said he would. There was a delay because of his dry wall guy who was doing the ceilings and Grant brought in another guy for a quote, but we ultimately decided to wait for the original man because that is who Grant usually uses and he said he does great work and was also cheaper. Grant and his team went above and beyond and did extra patching to make the walls look really nice. He told us what the extra patching would cost, which we agreed to, but he decided not to charge us as a "thank you" for us being patient with the delay which we appreciated. They even put all the switch plate and outlet covers back on for us which we weren't expecting but was also appreciated. The ceilings and paint look great, and I would definitely hire him again."

"We are very impressed and pleased with working with Drew and his crew from our first meeting to the last walk around with Drew. They listened to what we pictured in our minds then guided us through the process of selecting colors. Drew and his crew started by pressure washing our home. Then they came and rapidly and professionally prepped our home for painting. Next the came and painted our home with the three colors we picked for different areas of the exterior of our home. They are great young men who worked not stop, always cleaned up at the end of the day. The entire process took four days. We have Cedar siding, many wood framed windows and cement block lower all being painted with three different stain and paint colors. "Once again, Colorstyle has provided my family with great quality work at an exceptional price. I first used them about 10 years ago to paint the exterior of my home. It turned out so well that they ended up doing several other houses on my block and the next block up because all my neighbors wanted to know who painted our home. Most recently, I used them to paint some interior rooms, tile, and complete a basement finishing project in a house I was selling, and a complete interior paint job on our new house. They provided excellent advice on economical but effective improvements for selling the house. They just finished removing all the wallpaper and painting the entire interior of our new house to include trim and ceilings and it looks great. They were accommodating of changes we made during the project and quite a bit of missing or damaged trim. They also repaired a damaged ceiling. They were the lowest bid of three we received, and the work was very good. I always recommend them to our friends."

"Joel answered our request for a bid promptly. His proposal included more items and was more detailed that other bids; we also liked him and trusted him as a gut reaction -- so the choice was easy. He painted the trim on our older city home and adapted his painting to our changing ideas easily, giving us great advice along the way (in terms of what trim colors would work where). When we decided -- in the middle of the job -- to sell our house and needed to paint portions of the interior for sale, he added those to his schedule and helped us prioritize. He took some afternoons/days off our job to meet with other clients and perform previously scheduled jobs, so I felt it was a good sign -- that he treats all his clients fairly and respectfully. It is rare to have a flawless experience with a service provider, even when the experience is a fabulous one. I can honestly say that the only drawback with Joel is that he is so good, quick, trustworthy and easy to communicate with that we kept adding on jobs to our original bid! On the other hand, there were no surprises: even when he eyeballed an additional item, the final bill came in around $25 around the given estimate (usually lower). He was also a pleasure to have around the house -- worked well with the contractor who was performing some exterior repairs, really nice to our neighbors, and cleaned up impeccably. I can't recommend him highly enough. From initial contact to final bill, this was an unusually good experience. We'd recommend him unconditionally, and use him again without hesitation. Also, he's a really interesting person! We probably slowed him down by chatting with him."
