"We bought a coupon on Angie's list for 8 hours of work. We had several lights to install, but one in particular we knew would be a challenge- a large heavy wooden chandelier that we had bought at a specialty shop. The first day he came out, he realized that it would be a project and he would need to figure out a plan to install it as it would require a lot of time and extra parts. True to his word, he came back the next week with a plan that ended up being cheaper and easier than he had originally thought. He took the time to get a replacement part that would match the chandelier even better than what it originally came with, and even painted it to match perfectly. Originally he had thought he would have to cut a hole in the ceiling and we would have to have the sheet rock replaced/repaint, but he came up with a different way of doing it that saved time and money....and it came out beautifully! We really feel he went above and beyond in his work, and I would highly recommend this company for any work you may need done. Excellent! Thanks again."

"Contractor keep appointment (even though there were 2 or 3 calls expressing confusion about time and day); installed the drywall and cleaned the area.   The drywall installation was not smooth and when textured looked amateurish at best.  Before I could paint I had to sand several areas and apply canned texture-not the most professional look but time was a factor.  the next time the wall is painted will require extensive prep work to make it look professional. <br /> Good things: appointment keep; work was done as explained; no extra charges. <br /> Not so good: Technician was not a drywall guy. <br />"

"Jon arrived promptly.  I had bought different switches than those that came with the fans (light plus fan speed on a single switch), but Jon kindly pointed out I didn't need them as I could re-use one of the old light switches for the light and use the packaged fan speed switches.  He also pointed out that the included light bulb was a bit dim, but that I could upgrade it as long as it met the power requirement and fit within the enclosure. <br /> The installations went smoothly and quickly.  Jon even discovered a wiring issue in one of my receptacles where there was a knick in the wire (likely when the house was built).  He fixed it up, likely preventing a potential fire hazard!  Fans are perfectly balanced and look great. <br /> I highly recommend Jon and Advanced Electrical Services. <br />"
