"I honestly cannot say enough good things about Hard Worx Concrete. They installed an outdoor basketball court for us, and they did an absolutely beatiful job. Everyone who has seen it wants to put one up in their own yard now! What really stands out about Hard Worx is their experience and their willingness to go the extra mile. We needed metal work removed before we could install the court and they did that. We needed help installing the actual pole and hoop and they did that for us as well. Roger even identified a missing part right away and made an extra trip to install it after it arrived. The job was essentially done, but he went out of his way to make sure our court was fully functional. Roger was so knowledgeable about every aspect of the job. He made special bevel cuts to enhance our playing experience and gave us multiple options for pigment and hoop placement. Hard Worx Concrete are professional, kind, and experts in their field. We hope to use them again for future projects!"

Wife answered the phone and said she would contact him and get back with me which she did.  He was to arrive at 10 AM.  He did call a little after 12 noon and said they would be here "shortly".  He arrived with a helper and they seemed to discuss the estimate with each other before giving us the price.  The elder Mr. Wright said it would be $159 and the younger Mr. Wright wanted to charge $175 but they stayed with the $159.  We accepted the estimate and they started to work.  They had a small tractor-type of equipment they used to haul branches etc. from yard to the truck.  They filled the truck and smaller trailer and said they would have to come back because they didn't recall including the lilac bush (the largest of the bushes) and they had no way to haul any more brush so would be back first thing Monday morning.  When they did not arrive by noon, I called and Mr. Wright said he was in Pennsylvania but he would be here first thing the next morning and said he should have called me and apologized.  He didn't come the next morning but called and said he had to take his grand daughter to school and would be here later.  The other man did not return with him and the elder Mr. Wright worked very hard and did finish the job.  The younger Mr. Wright actualy did very little in the way of assistance the first time so it didn't seem to be an issue that he wasn't with him.  We gave him $170 although he did not ask for more money but we felt that he had worked extremely hard with very little help the first day and none the second day.  When he left, we did have a very large oil spot remaining in front of the house.  I believe Mr. Wright is an honest, hard working man but just does not have the help or equipment to do more than very minor lawn or land scaping type of work.  He seems to be more into mowing and trimming lawns and would probably do a good job

at mowing and trimming a yard.

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Rippon, WV

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
