"This was the second home inspection we had done by John Mielke of Pristine Inspections. Both were very thorough, and John took his time explaining everything to us in great detail. Because of roof problems John discovered on this inspection, we asked the home sellers to repair a portion of the roof. John came back and re-inspected after the repair, and was still not happy with the roof. The sellers ended up giving us a credit for the roof, and we repaired it properly after buying the house. Thanks to John, we were able to get a potentially serious problem addressed by the sellers. Very happy with Pristine, and would highly recommend."

They came out, were able to quickly spot the problem from outside before even going up on my two story house to take a look. The fixed the issue and did some other repair work for me while there were there for a very reasonable price. You can't even tell that my roof has been patched from the outside. I would use them again for any work that I needed done."

"This is the second house we've had a roof replaced by The Roofing Dog. This time we only needed an attached garage re-roofed. They did not try to sell me a re-roof for the whole house even though it could've used it. I only wanted the garage done, and that's all they did. Great job on the installation and the customer service. They recommended a saddle be installed in the roof behind a chimney, and no other roofer had done this during the 40 year life of the house. They even offered to let us throw some of our trash into their dumpster. They also replaced one piece of gutter and downspout, and that was fantastic as well. Very happy with The Dog on both roofs they've done for us."

"Our "only" negative comment about Ground Zero Shelters is that they do not come to a persons residence to give the sales pitch and demonstration. You must go to their showroom or see their product at a home show. This being said, we were extremely happy with the sales experience, reminders and installation of our shelter. They called about 10 days prior to the installation for a reminder, their installers called the day before and the morning of the installation to remind us that they would be at our home at the designated time. They showed up as promised and were completed with the installation in less than 1 1/2 hours time! Thank you Ground Zero!"

"The installation process was fine. We had trouble with communication between us and the contractor. He was very hard to get a hold of and get a straight answer from as far as when they were going to start and what their plan was (we had weather delays).  Once the roof was finished (April), he ensured us that we would receive our warranty information by mail and that sometimes it takes awhile during the busy season. In mid-June we had not received anything and no word from the contractor so we became concerned. We attempted to contact the contractor for a couple weeks before we got a response - that it was in their system and it takes awhile.  Another month passes by and I am tired of waiting, so I contact the roofing vendor itself where the warranty is coming from - Atlas Roofing Products.  I sent an email to the regional sales manager first thing in the morning and received a phone call within a couple of hours. By the end of the day I had my warranty information in hand.  Overall, we are happy with the installation and product but not happy with the lack of communication.  We would have preferred to be kept in the loop and updated on the warranty of our roof which we had just dropped a large chunk of change on.

"Ernie Haas provided a very thorough examination of our roof which enabled us (after much back and forth with our roofer (DCF Contracting)) to ensure that all necessary and required repairs were made to our roof. Mr. Haas stayed in contact with us for more than a month to ensure that any questions or issues we had were addressed."

"They're a small company. They did a good job though. It went very well. We had a really complex job that they had to do. They did a good job. It kept longer than what we expected, but then again, it was a huge week complex job and compared to the other bids, about $10,000 less. The work was really good and they were nice guys. They stayed on their bid and we had a really difficult roof with 4 main peaks, really steep tables that go into 4 different pitches, then with the curves front and evrything like that, and then front porch, back porch, garage, and the original sheather shake was under 4 layers of shingle, and on the driver's side, there were 3 storeys up, so they had on a really steep pitch. They had to peel everything back, to take the sheather shake off, and then put the decking on, 2300 sq ft of decking and then do everything else, so the big job."

"I had a great experience using Steve Grant construction.  I was replacing my front door.  Steve did everything from pick up my door selection at the store to adding the trim work after it was fully installed.  While removing the old door and frame he found some of the support had some decay and rot, so he took the time to replace and re-support the area before installing the new door.  I am very satisfied with the quality of work and price for the services rendered.  I would definitely recommend him to a friend."
