"Our home was heavily wind and water damaged on June 20, 2021, from a tornado that went through Naperville, Illinois as well as other western suburbs. Our entire roof, siding and gutter systems required complete removal and replacement before any of the interior water damage restoration work could even begin to be started. As a result of the damages, we forced to move-out of our home. While we worked with our insurance company to establish the full extent of tornado damages and associated costs to our home which took a considerable amount of time, we had occasion to watch Global Exterior Experts already in action restoring a nearby home around the corner from our home. Having learned of his extensive background and experience working initially as a tradesperson on roofing, siding and gutter systems work throughout his years of working for Global Exterior Experts, I was impressed to be collaborating with a professional who knew not only how to get the work done properly but who was exceptionally customer service driven working with both prospective and current customers. Aaron explained Global Exterior Experts entire process in detail in a truly clear, professional, and transparent manner. During our conversations I was extremely confident and knew that the professional restoration services offered by Global Exterior Experts were exactly what was needed to restore both our home and to begin to resume our family’s life again. Global Exterior Experts entire team from sales manager, estimating/contracts, production and Jobsite Foreman were all outstanding and always maintained constant communication during the project – which was truly a team effort. All Global’s onsite tradespersons were highly skilled, well trained internally by Global, professional, and were respectful of always working on our home. Immediately upon completion of the exterior restoration work a walk-through inspection of the work was performed and any items requiring attention were immediately addressed. "I did the typical homeowner thing where I anticipate being able to handle a project and quickly found I was in a bit over my head. I was hoping to do some finish work on my basement and thought everything would be simple. It proved to be a bit beyond my understanding and I went to Angie's list and a few other places for help. I ended up finding Redwood Builders (Jared) on Angie's list. He was semi local to me which was nice and made it easy for him to stop by one morning before I left for work. I had two other people out to look at the possible work as well. I ended up going with Redwood Builders for the job because I felt most comfortable with Jared compared to the others I had talked with. Overall it worked out very well. He was very open in communicating what was going to be done when and on what day. Overall everything has stayed relatively on time to what we discussed. The overall cost was higher than I had wanted to spend, but that is more to do with what I believe was my poor estimating on what real work costs. Compared to the other people I talked to he was right in line with them as far as costs go. On the costs, what I have appreciated is his openness to adjustments as we go. Initially we discussed a baseline cost for the project. He has stuck with that, but because of my request for an additional thing here or an additional item there the cost did increase. He never really said no to anything and just explained that might be an additional cost, gave me a rough idea of the cost, and we ended up going forward. In my work, I work with a lot of different contractor types in different industries and frankly I wish all were as personable and easy going as Jared. He did a good portion of the work himself. He did sub out some portions of the work, but the items he subbed out were done well by people that were professional and worked well and quickly. I know he had some personal issues pop up during the tail end of our job. Short of letting me know he really did not miss a beat. I fully would have understood any delays but he was very professional and very set on finishing what he had agreed to. I would gladly use Jared again on any possible future job and would recommend him to anyone looking."

"Charles took me shopping to help me make design choices and make sure we stayed on track for budget.  We had a productive day and a lot of fun buying new materials for my home.  I was included in the project every step of the way.  Really?  Who goes shopping with their customers anymore?  Wonderful experience from the begging!  Charles and his team were polite and professional and what I loved the most is they have made me feel so comfortable while performing this work in my home.  Team was on time and ready to work everyday.  No corners were cut and details were always finished perfectly.
