"Reinstalled a dishwasher correctly that was poorly installed by a different company. The Zowada employee was friendly and professional. I have used Zowada Plumbing in the past for some major renovations to my bathroom and incoming water line, that employee was great as well! I would recommend them to anyone needing plumbing work done in their home. They are reliable, honest and most importantly, stand behind their work! <br />"

"I called wanting to get the p trap and drain pipes under my kitchen sink and they were out the same day. The gentleman that came out was very professional and courteous. He completed the job in about a half an hour. It would have taken me 4 hours and several trips to the hardware store. You can tell it was done by a true professional. There prices were very good. I will never use another plumber."

"Job went well. They stayed within the estimated price. Completed the job on time and the employees were professional. I expected them to still be in business, I called the other day (9-14-17) and to my dismay they no longer do HVAC but instead are focusing on their plumbing side of the business."

"It went very well. After a bit of a wait, I received a very comprehensive report of 88 specific items as well as bacteria, fungi and particles. Each Item detected over the EPA drinking water limits had an explanation sheet. Also provided was a contact person at the company to address any questions you had about the report findings. I thought the service was well worth the $300 just for the peace of mind. I intend to use the company on an annual basis going forward."

"We are women who are afraid to ask for a mans help, we tried to plumb our bathroom sink and could not get the parts right and had water every where after trying for a month to figure it out and after i was tired of brushing my teeth in the shower we called Lee Plumbing, after being referred by many familyand friends, They came in with prompt service and fixed it in no time and did not make me feel stupid, had a great humor and gave us a business card and make us feel good about it. Most plumbers come and don't say two words, these guys were very professional and very kind. <br />"

FAQs for plumbing installation for a remodel or addition projects in Rock Springs, WY

Adding bathroom plumbing to a detached garage starts with the basic line installation cost of $900 to $1,300. On top of this base expense, you'll need to budget for each fixture. A toilet costs  $250 to $550, sinks cost $150 to $800, and a shower or bathtub costs $400 to $1,900. The project will also require ventilation, moisture-resistant materials, and possibly electrical work. Remember that these costs reflect only the plumbing aspects—additional construction, finishing, and permitting expenses will apply to complete a functional bathroom space.

While certain aspects of garage renovation might be suitable for DIY enthusiasts, plumbing installation requires professional expertise. Connecting to water and sewer systems demands specialized knowledge and equipment, and improper installation can result in severe water damage, code violations, and potential health hazards. Most municipalities require permits for plumbing modifications, and these often stipulate that licensed professionals must perform work. Consider limiting your involvement to simpler tasks like painting or basic finishing work.

The timeframe for adding plumbing to a detached garage spans one to three days for the actual plumbing work. However, this represents only the active installation period. The complete project timeline must account for planning, obtaining permits (which can take weeks depending on your locality), coordinating multiple contractors if needed, and addressing any unexpected challenges that arise during installation. Weather conditions can also impact excavation and outdoor connection work.

Adding plumbing to a detached garage will likely increase your property taxes. Tax assessors consider plumbing an improvement that enhances property value and functionality. The specific tax impact varies by location and project scope. Converting a garage into living space with plumbing facilities can trigger significant reassessment in many jurisdictions. Before proceeding with your project, consult your local tax assessor's office to understand the potential tax implications and factor this ongoing expense into your decision-making process.
