Melvin responded in person to my emergency call after the recent tornado (microburst) in Olney took out six of the large, old trees in my yard. One of the trees was hanging over the deck and threatened to create more damage to my house if not skillfully removed. Axcobar showed up with a fabulous crew and a couple of trucks with shredders attached. These folks worked tirelessly over two days to cut, shred, and remove the trees that fell and the ones that were damaged and still standing. "We cannot say enough good things. Because we needed the work done quickly, we called 5 companies. We left 3 messages, one company said they'd call us back. Shifflet scheduled an estimate for the very next day. They showed up on time, gave us an estimate, and said they were sure they'd be able to get it done that week. Sure enough, they came out the very next day and went to work. They were done in about 45-50 minutes and took the time to explain everything they did. Since two stumps were in line with where we are putting in a fence, they said that if the fence company ran into any troubles, to call them and they'd come out the same day to fix any issues.
