There are a lot of companies to choose from, but after reading many reviews on Angies list from various companies as well as checking their web sites I was struck by all the positive the customer service comments for Hepa Vac. The web site makes it clear what the program involves as well as the expected cost so there are no surprises. Reed was available in just a couple days so I had him come out. He has a camera to put down into the ducts so you can see exactly how dirty they are. Everything went great1 he also did the dryer vent and offered to clean the A/C unit. Thanks Reed!"

"After attempting to clean dryer vents on own multiple times without much success I called Dan out to try and improve our drying times. With 2 kids at home, it seems we are always doing laundry. Dan cleaned the actual vent and suggested changing out the transition duct to hard pipe to improve the air flow. We started at 700 cfm airflow and by the time he was done it was up to 1250. The recommendation is 1200+."

"The work went very well. The installation is beautiful. The zoning control works as anticipated keeping the system in stage 1 heating whenever possible. The expanded cold air duct and new basement cold air duct have solved thermal distribution and noise problems for us. The new humidifier with outdoor temperature sensing control remains to be proven this winter. Wireless thermostats were required at the last minute when it became clear running new thermostat wires with more conductors would be nearly impossible. All in all, a great experience. They are filing all warranties and rebates for us."

"Tested the air flow thru the vent. Explained that the vent was mostly clogged (which is what caused my dryer to blow the heating element). Cleaned the vent and tested the air flow again. Cleaned up the dryer lint that ended up in the yard following the cleaning. I was able to get the cleaning at a cost of $129 by purchasing a coupon via Angie's List (regular price was around $150 I believe). Because the cost to fix my dryer was definitely more than that, I will have the vent cleaned every one to two years. <br />"
